    How do I go about converting the 200+ views into sales? Help!

    How do I go about converting the 200+ views I have on one item (the newest listed and topping alllll my other items by about 100 views) into sales.

    I've had 1 sale so far so I'm happy on that count, but want to know how to edge it over the line.

    I just went so far as putting on sale for 5% for 3 days and see what happens (I got 43 views between going on sale and now and gained 3 watchers as well).

    I feel I've hit a corner but need to turn the views into sales. (as we all do).

    Hi Victor,

    Would you consider posting a link to one of you listings so we could take a look? Or alternatively you could PM me or Marc with it.

    It could be that your listings are missing something or putting buyers off in some way.

    One thing to try is writing a call to action at the end of your listing description - e.g. "Bid now to pick up this top-of-the-line Dyson vacuum cleaner for pennies on the dollar!"

    Sounds simple, but I've noticed it makes a difference to my eBay auctions and increases overall activity.

    Other things to try:

    *Make sure your description is very comprehensive and emphasizes the benefits as well as the features.
    *Add at least 5 good quality photos to each listing - more photos is proven to increase conversions.
    *Add a good FAQ and make an About Me page telling buyers more about yourself and your business.

    Try listing it more than once. Sometimes people seeing the item listed more than once will turn them into buyers. Plus a listing can get lost in the morass. I have done this on some items I am selling and find I grab a sale after listing the item/s again. I re-list a set of items I sell once per week. AS a premier store owner it only costs me and extra nickle for each listing. I do this for 20 listings and it only costs me a $1.
