    Just became a Silver Powerseller Woo Hoo

    So what does this really mean ? Is the only benefit, just to say I'm a powerseller buy from me? Any of the tools they provide I seem to already use.
    And I'm pretty sure based on sales I should have been a gold member, I think that may change.
    Anyway it feels good to have achieved this milestone in a short 3 1/2 months.

    Congrats Alli, big effort. As Haydee as indicated, there are a few benefits that you can make the most of now, so definitely brush up on what's available to you now.

    Thanks Guys :) , It just goes to show if you want to make money ebay is still viable (for now!!) I wish they hadn't got so greedy though.
    The Ebay letterheads and business card templates they supply are pretty cool , I might print some up and send them to customers with the goods. You never know they may get passed on to friends .

    Congratulations. Now for the fun of trying to keep your power seller status. It's not easy to keep up the sales volume consistently. I also became a power seller very quickly after beginning to list on eBay but my sales volume dropped almost as quickly and I lost my power seller status. However, I found it made no difference to the confidence my customers held in me. I was gutted when I first lost it but I have never bothered rejoining again as I once again became eligible. It was just not worth the hassle of trying to keep up. So if it should happen to you just don't stress about it. Once you have about 100 positive feedback, customers really don't care if you are a power seller or not so long as they get good customer service and value-for-money merchandise.

    Difficult I can do right away. Impossible takes a little longer

    glad some of you are successful. try as i might, i only succeeded in creating debt. i'm back to my old $9 an hour job. i make enough money so that i can eat and have the gas and car insurance i need to get to work. and no money left over to pay my debts. so i get a bunch of lovely phone calls from law firms and debt collection agencies every day. i dont know how all you are making money, i cant find one dam thing to sell on ebay, and ive been trying for 3 years. all the wholesale lists, all the money making gurus, and not one dam thing. i guess i should be selling fake crap from china like everyone else.

    Artpants. Have you tried searching for bargains on eBay itself? I'm thinking of giving up on selling wholesale merchandise for awhile and concentrating on eBay arbitrage. There are literally hundreds of items listed daily either in the wrong categories or with spelling mistakes in the listing title that go for way below market value that you can flip for good profits. When you have been doing this for awhile, the pertinent listings start to jump out at you. There are some great articles and ebooks on ebay arbitrage that can give you a really good start. If you concentrate your search on one particular item or category you will soon be able to find these bargains almost daily. True, you won't be making enough to quit your job and buy a mansion but you can make a few hundred extra a month on top of your main income. Who the heck works for $9 per hour nowadays?
    You could use the little program *goofbay* to help find items wrongly listed.

    Hey Artpants,

    First I can totally understand where you are coming from. To be honest I also drove up some major debt trying to purchase products to sell on ebay, and I did make some good sales but after items that didn't sell and combination with ebay's fees I ended with a major lose then making profits. Im also considering going back to find some $9 hour job to pay off some of my debt while. But I can recommend a program to you but this is only because im using it and one of our sellers on here PLANES is offering a dropshipping program and the products that I have been selling are pretty good sellers. The only reason im recommending this is because you at least don't have to buy anything upfront and all the products have free shipping so you just pay the cost of the item plus a smaller membership fee after 30 day free trial. Again im not trying to build up BS im just suggesting because im also in the same boat as you and working this program to try and pay down some of my debt while trying to search for a part time job.

    I think userexists pointed out some good points if you have the money to start investing in product upfront, but I would be very careful of those ebooks that are out there, they can be alot of smoke but nothing else.

    Alot of dropshippers don't do well on ebay these days but planes program has some positive benefits but to be honest there are some Pros and Cons about the program but if your persistant like im trying to be then its a pretty good way to go.
