    Re: Paypal Hold question

If you mean that those funds have been locked by PayPal, then the answer is no.

PayPal will keep those funds locked until a final determination is made regarding the situation that resulted in the funds being locked in the first place, and then either return the funds to you or keep them depending on their decision.

    Re: Paypal Hold question

HI, and im sorry to say but , no , if you are a new to ebay or paypal , your funds are sure to be held, untill you either give paypal a tracking number or recive feedback (poss) for the item funds are being held for.one way to avoid this in the future is to purchase your shipping label through paypal. its pretty easy to set it up. once you have established feedback the holds will stop. unless its a large sum transaction or somtimes a risky listing. i lost about a 400.00 sale when i first started on ebay , from a sale i made using a dropshipper, my plan was to pay the dropshipper with the buyers money , so they could ship the product. paypal said no!!! in short , i do not think thats fair,,,, but thats ebay and paypal!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the advice, I am saying if the funds arent locked, but are being held for 21 days or until a positive feedback is made. I did print shipping labels through ebay, and have a 100% pos. feedabck score of like 14. Can I use those funds?

    Re: Paypal Hold question

NO, WHILE I DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE ITEM WAS OR THE CIRCUMSATNCES . HERES A GOOD WAY TO JUMP START YOUR EBAY BUSSINESS. FIRST SELL A FEW PERSONAL ITEMS , AT A LOSS IF YOU HAVE TO. AND SHIP ASAP!!!!! THATS IMPORTANT!!! AND ALWAYS PURCHASE LABELS THROUG PAYPAL ALSO YOU CAN BUILD FEEDBACK QUICK BY THROWING IN A LITTE EXTRA , EVEN A CHEAP THANK YOU CARD. STAY AWAY FROM RISKY LISTINGS. SUCH AS DESINGER GOODS . JUST THINK SIMPLE. 100% FEEDBACK AT 14 IS STILL VERRY NEW , SO JUST MAKE SURE YOU SHIP QUICKLY , ALWAYS SAY THANK YOU AND SHARE A LITTLE PERSONAL INFO WHEN SENDING INVOICES, AND ALWAYS DO A LITTLE EXTRA . AND BEFORE YOU KNOW IT YOU FEEDBACK WILL SOAR!!!!!!!!!!!1

    Re: Paypal Hold question

i think i know what you mean, its gotten better for me, i have 100% feedback w/ 57 positive feedback. they hold a little bit. like the first item that sold in my last batch of product, was $109 paypal put a hold on that and the following items they didnt b/c i guess if there was a problem they have that money to back it up. then as more and more items sell i have all that money in there to back up any purchases. i guess the trick is to keep a little bit of money in there, enough to cover your average sales
