I'm trying to figure out what forms and applications I need, and I was thinking about using businesslicenses.com to help me out since I am not sure of how many forms I need. Does anyone have an opinion on going this route? Thanks.

If this is a pay site. Your better of just going to irs.gov and doing it all yourself. They have an online application form that is user friendly and you can sign up within a half hour and its FREE.Wholesale Directory by SaleHoo

Jimmy is right. On most of these pay sites, you pay a fee and usually you then get a url link which in turn takes you to your state and/or irs site to fill out the form. So why pay for a link when you can just go to the state and federal site and start there. My forms were very simple and took only a couple of minutes..

It depends on what forms you need. For example, if you want to start an LLC or other business entity you might find an online site very useful (I personally use one that's very good - not sure if I can post it here without getting into trouble).

We just stop people from advertising thier own sites here unless they are registered sellers. Its only a precaution to keep others from being scammed.
You should get a sales tax certificate from your state. All legitimate wholesalers will need this in order to do business with you.

Do you guys mean I need licenses to sell stuff online? I find that hard to believe. I do pay my taxes but I've never had to file any special forms in between tax seasons.

^well, if i am understanding you correctly, it depends...if you are REselling for profit, it is illegal not to have a resellers license/registered retail merchant certificate. Although, if you are paying your taxes and filing the right forms, maybe you are ok....but maybe someone with more experience and knowledge should respond..
