Top Wholesaler Online - Everyone Please Read.

I see many new messages every day with new members looking for the best wholesale deals and what companies to get them from.

Most of you don't even think to imagine that your best wholesale deals come from the same place you're wanting to sell on.

    ==============WWW.EBAY.COM=================

You can buy every wholesale list and guide on the internet but you will find the best deals right on Ebay.

Just click the BUY tab and Search for any product line you're interested in and Add the word or words: 'LOTS' or 'WHOLESALE LOTS'

The same online wholesalers are selling the same items on EBAY for generally less then they sell them on their own websites because of a much faster turnover rate for their Overstock, Closeouts, and Liquidation Products.

First thing first research your products. Don't get screwed out of your investment by making a big mistake on your product line..
    ----------------------------------------------------------------
My advise to you on one big thing, stay away from top brand name electronics products or you will get washed away. Statistics show that 75% of new Ebayers try to sell heavy items like Digital Cameras, Computer Parts that are high in demand. And the very same statistics show that 90 % of those new Ebayers give up in the first year because they lost way too much money trying to sell the products and got eaten alive by the hidden end of item charges that Ebay stamps on you for high dollar items. The average Ebay noobie will try to find a product from a dropshipper or supplier that can supply the product for let's say 20 bucks lower then the average selling price on Ebay. They spend about 5 bucks to list the add and more if it doesn't sell the first time. Let's say the item in question is a laptop PC. The seller can get it for $1,650 from a dropshipper. The average selling price on Ebay is. $1,700 .. The new seller goes ahah I can make money on this, 50 bucks is a good profit. They then list the item and well it sells for $1,700. The seller would quickly assume hey I made 50 bucks. Well a month later they receive their Ebay invoice and it has a fee of $69 dollars for the closing value fee and then paypal hits you with a $30 dollar processing fee for processing the credit card transaction.

Well it looks like the seller is in trouble. He didn't make any profit at all but he sure lost a lot of money. On top of that before he actually realizes his mistake he's already sold 30 items of high value, thinking he made $1500 bucks only to find out he owes ebay and paypal $2970 and when he can't pay, his account gets closed and he loses his interest in Ebay and sticks to his 9-5 job.

If you're new to Ebay, stay away from high dollar items until you can buy the items at rock bottom prices.

Start small and buy your wholesale directly from Ebay.

Great post but the problem is that when you buy wholesale lots on ebay, there are a lot of interested people and a lot of bids. So you almost end up paying the same amount as at a whoelsaler.

The best way to buy at really good prices is at link hidden they have great lots of ipods and laptops.
They have a lot of returned items form Best Buy some are in good condition and with retail box. They have auctions where you end up paying between $30-$50 each ipod. So you can still sell them on ebay for $30 more. Imagine if you have a quantity of 40 items to sell that's a lot of money you can make.

Well just as on eBay I have seen lots on liquidation.com go way above its value on eBay. But it seems everyone always goes back to ipods lol. I have never seen ipods go that low on liquidation.com but I have seen them go at a price where you stand to profit $30-$40 bucks on them.

sounds like pretty solid advice to me. I also like buying cheap items to start and barely making a profit or even losing a small amount of money to get ebay ratings. Ratings in the long run will help with other items.

I see no mention on doing Drop Shipping. I don't want to be overloaded with ideas. Just want to get my footing and start off as a part timer.

I don't have my own website, but I am very interested in selling online. Does anyone have any suggestions for newbies like myself? Ultimately, I want my online income to replace my job income. For instance, should I get my own site or sell on eBay? Any suggestions for good places to get a website?

    Your input is greatly appreciated.

    Lifelucrative,

You need to spend time in researching what niches would be profitable for you. Selling on eBay and selling with your own site can both be profitable. I have chosen to sell with my own site due to the fact that you just have more control over what you can list and how you can market your product. My own opinion would be to look into Yahoo Stores. I have been very pleased with my business relationship with them and their customer service is great. Feel free to email me directly with any questions you may have.

starting out on ebay is a good idea when starting a business for many reasons...
    1. Learn about marketing items - price, desc, pictures etc. These are all impt when rolling out your own website
    2. Dealing with customers - customer service is crucial to a business, and you meet all kinds on ebay :)
    3. Learn how to best package an item
    4. Learn how to best ship an item - USPS, UPS, FEDEX etc - use insurance? tracking? etc
    4. Learn how to accept payments - Paypal rules can take a long time to get down pat
    5. CONFIDENCE in your product and your business skills

Once you have mastered the art of 'EBAY', creating your own website would be a fantastic idea.
EBAY is a great way to market your website (FREEEEEEEE).
Simply add a link to your about me page in each and every ebay ad.
Then, on your about me page, be sure to entice people to visit your website. Make the link clear and appealing. There you go, Free advertising for your website, and those who click on your link are already interested in your product and your company!!!

Good luck, dont give up and always take it slow.

    Hello,

Someone said it's better to start out small (yes, I am starting out too), and I want to know if anyone here has any small-value/startup product recommendations.

    Thanks.

    Hello everyone,
Thank you all for sharing your kind advice.
Am new to Salehoo and trying to find good sources of low cost eletronics.
I already have a good website set up with shopping cart and credit card processing etc.
However, the company am dealing with to drop ship for me seems to sell items to me at market price and also charges me a monthly 'subscription fee' to dropship for me!!! Am not making any money and I know this is a rip off!
Am also starting to hear about other people who have worked with it longer complaining about damaged/ scratched merchandise drop shipped to their customers!
I have invested alot of money and time to get my website set up and just trying to get my foot in the door with a better dropshipper.
Any kind insights, advice, recommendations etc will greatly be appreciated.
    Thank you all.

Want a great place to start selling electronics?

Try link hidden They are the largest distributor of electronics in the USA. Period no if ands or butts about them they are the biggest. And they do dropship if you setup a dropship account with them and supply the proper business information.

A friend just showed me a wholesale catalogue from them last week that had a 13inch flip down LCD monitor for my minivan. It was listed for $175, from audiovox. I don't see any listings near that size for less then $375 on eBay.

    Hello all,

Must say that the last string of posts have been great, good job everyone.

I use both ebay and my own website.
But like Tiffany said free ads on ebay work great. But the thing I don't like about ebay is all the fees they charge and now thier talking about requiring out of state sales taxes. what's up with that??
There are a lot of other ways to drive traffic that are as good if not better in the long run, and also free.
    Just some thoughts
