i would like it if someone could look at my website and give me a honest feedback. I have had it for about 2 months now, and have'nt made 1 sale. the images want resizing, to look more natural, I feel you need the images, not the prices displayed, then draw them in to the description page where the price is.

thanks for your info on website. Are you refering to the image on the opening page or the veiw larger photo. the program i was using automaticaly puts the price in the opening page above the discription, let's face it there is not much info you can give on a pair of swimmers,panty's or even a babydoll. Do you or recommend trying banner advertising to drive more traffic to my site. Waiting for your info thanks for taking a look and the info.

I agree with graham, you definately need better photos. Even when you 'click to enlarge', the photos are very fuzzy and look unprofessional when they appear that way..Also contrary to what you say above about not being able to give much of a discription to swimmers, pantys or a babydoll is completely wrong and a sale killer on top of that...Think of ways of discribing the items benefits and qualities and things of that nature. You have to make your customer feel like they just have to have this product...For instant, instead of 'black lace baby doll, $9.99', how about 'This elegant black lace baby doll will have that special someone finding you just irristible. Perfect for making the night very memorable. You will not find a better bargan at only $9.99'

You can't just throw the products on a page and expect someone to buy them. You have to tell them why they 'need' to buy them and get them to 'act'...
If you not good at writing copy, then visit some of the other website that sell the same products and see how they discribe their products to get some ideas... -

thanks for your input i will take your info seriously and go and make a few changes. I am not much of a computer buff like most i did all the pitures and load up myself with no help. Your comments were much appreciated

Personally, I do not have the patience to deal with an un-familiar website that makes you search for the prices--- that's just me. I like the layout and the colors. It looks 'fun', which I think is a big plus for a site like yours. I think that the costumes could be a good niche for you especially during the right season. Just an entry-level opinion. Keep reading the forums, a lot of these guys seem to have some really great insight.

thanks for your honest report about my website. The idea of selling costumes would add a extra item to my list but i don't know how they would sell here in australia, also looking for other products to add and sell any ideas would be helpful. Thought about electrics but to many selling them and the whole saae prices i find are a bit to high anyway thanks for input keep looking

I think your website looks great. From someone who loves the merchandise that you carry anyway, it looks wonderful. I like how you have the prices on the main pages and the images look great when you enlarge them. I would only suggest that the images not make the women look so short and fat. Otherwise, you did a wonderful job on the website. You will definitely get an order from me very soon. -

You are using Oscommerce like I am which have a lot of features. Also a lot of people who constantly make improvements and share them on the oscommerce site. I just started my site and don't have much on it, hopefully not for long. But if you look at my pictures you see that I have added a mod that let me use good quality thumbnails and pop-ups. Also checkout the settings in the admin login and you will find how to change the image sizes to sizes that you want. Pay close attention to image size though they can use up a lot of space.
