    Re: liquidation.com

Site is quite legit and is quite popular. It's used by a lot of ebay type sellers in search of small bulk loads to break down for sale.

Things you have to watch out for include:

    1. The site is an auction type format with independent suppliers selling their stock, therefore as with most sites like this you will get good traders and you will get ones that are trying to auction off complete garbage.

Do your research on any seller you are thinking about bidding with.

    2. Watch our for the shipping prices, liquidation.com have some of the most extreme shipping prices around and they can burn your deal quick if you haven't already factored them in.

    Hi srg-wholesale,

Fudjj has addressed your concerns right to the point. Just remember that a little or even a lot of research will not hurt at all.

Here's another recent post quite similar with yours, maybe you'll find the additional information helpful, please have a read:

    Re: liquidation.com

I've been using liquidation.com for couple months. It is almost like another version of ebay but mainly for bulk auction. If you have money to invest then it will be good supply source. Make sure to check shipping cost PRIOR to place a bid. Also there is a 5% of winning bid for buyer's premium.

    Re: liquidation.com

I have been buying from Liquidation for a year now and had a lot of success. To answer an earlier question I saw on here - use your own shipping label, simply email them your own UPS label based on their size and weight, they will ship with your label.

Here's my issue - a couple of the largest suppliers are no longer liquidating through liquidation.com - namely Wal Mart and Best Buy. Anyone know where these two are liquidating now?

    Thanks

Well I know Best Buy has their own account on eBay not sure about Walmart. They may be both doing this now.

    Re: liquidation.com

My husband and i have looked into some of their auctions, and some are very much worth it. But like anything else, Research is key. There is the buyers premium and shipping to factor in to the bid price. We have watched and even been tempted to bid on some things but then after researching the item(s) price on eBay and factoring in the premium and shipping, we backed out. With anything you go forward with, research the best price and the company itself. Like stated above, this is an auction format with individual sellers, much like eBay.
