NICHE IDEA FOR SAN DIEGO RESIDENTS!!

Unfortunately, I live on the east coast or I would be doing this now myself in some form.

I have been holding onto this idea for awhile now but I won't be living in San Diego anytime soon so I might as well give it up.

If you live in San Diego, here is an idea just for you.

link hidden is based right in San Diego. They have a will call window service.

What this means is this. You can basically list all of their items up on eBay without having to have any ownership of the product.

All you need is a business account with them which can usually be completed within 72 hours. Then simply list the items you want to sell of theirs on eBay.
When you sell something, simply order it as a will call order from their website and go pick it up the next day from their will call window.

If you have a new eBay account, I would suggest making sure you have enough funds on hand to cover the purchase and ship costs as Paypal will be holding some of your money.

As a business you won't have to pay taxes at the window when you pick.

Since many of the items are higher priced items, make sure your Paypal account is set up correctly and fully verified. You can search my posts on Paypal if you need help with account creation.

    Good info!!!

However, there are couple down side though, prices for most of the products are almost retail price (mayby $5-10 less) + minimum order $100 or $10 surcharge for under $100. They only allow 48 hours return policy - so if you customer does not like the products when they received (about 3-5 days). It will be all YOURS. This won't be enough to cover shipping fees even if we ground shipping it to the customer. Good idea to personal use though. Save a few bucks :)

I work about 15 mins from their store location - probably will check it out.

I found the prices to work on eBay. I suggest looking at them again. I could find 20 items which would make a profit on eBay.

Whats great is you live so close. Check out the hard drives and the digicams to start. If I lived there I would have some fun.

Have you thought of buying a few from them and having them shipped to you?

You would have to outlay some coin though. You know, I just thought of something. Maybe you can talk to someone in their sales dept and see if they could source some PS3s for you.
