    Hints on suppliers?

G'day guys. I'm a noob to all this and am enjoying reading up on everything. I was hoping to get a few suggestions on how to go about finding suppliers etc for my idea (that's been done millions of times already of course). I was hoping to do something along the lines of selling digital download software, such as well known anti-virus software etc. So someone could purchase the product, I supply them with a link after payment, and then email a code. Only problem is, my head is spinning from over reading the info' on this site and I am having trouble working out where exactly to go. I would also be looking at building a site to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated : )

Well if you are going to list digital downloads on eBay that may be a dead end as they eliminated these transaction on eBay last year. And I dont know if they ever allowed this type of download.

Now I know sites like pcworld and download.com offer these types of software downloads.
My guess is they are some type of affiliate arrangement.

You might check with each software vendors site to check their affiliate conditions.

This type of business relies heavily on website design and search placement.
You would have to spend a lot of time learning the ropes, so to speak. to make any headway.

Liquidations would be the perfect platform for bulk buying in that genre, some great New Overstock loads available, but you would have to be buying in good bulk to make it worth while importing from the US/Canada.

The aussie exchange rate doesn't make importing that much fun at the moment.

I know of no drop ship supplier that would deal in that genre, but PM
jg42122, he may have some leads for you.
