    Looking for authorized distributors and wholesalers

    HELP!!!

    I'm looking for authorized and quality distributors and wholesalers. Product catagories of interest include consumer electronics, cell phones, laptops, jewelry, and name brand fashion and apparel. Brands include Apple, Dell, Sony, Nikon, Canon, Gucci, Prada, Coach, etc.. Very interested in Apple Iphones, Ipod Touch, Imac's, and Macbook Pro's.

    It's very hard to find quality contacts who are in fact wholesalers who sell original products and not middle men, fakes, or sell knock off's and offer at a price that when resold a profit can be made.

    Any information is greatly appreciated, thank you.

    Fudjj you rock :) I really appreciate that. Do you have an email address I can send a list of items I'm interested in to or would it be better to post on here? Just noticed what the PM means.. lol. Going to a baseball game today but later will PM some items over. Thanks -TG

    Hi,Fudjj I would also like to know about who sales name brand clothes and items like purses, sun glasses. I have checked out devil wear in England but I am in the US. Thanks for any help.

    İ want to sell in Turkey over Ebay.

    Welcome to SaleHoo! :) Let me share with you that high end designer brands, such as Prada, Gucci and Louis Vuitton, are almost close to impossible to source wholesale. This is due to the fact that their distribution is strictly limited and tightly contained within their authorized distribution channels. This is part of their campaign to protect their brands, to keep these products from flooding the market, to avoid them being saturated and eventually losing their brand name's value. This 'exclusivity' explains why these products are not easily available for any wholesaler to distribute.

    Another option to source genuine high end brands would be through liquidation. I continued my lengthy explanation for this through a PM sent to you. :)

    In all the years I've been here, this is the question I see over and over, week after week. Maybe a sticky post is in order to explain that there are generallly *no* "first source" wholesalers of, say, Armani menswear? I mean, it's a basic tenant of getting into business, getting the myths and misconceptions out of one's head.

    It's just a suggestion, and not intended to be cantankerous. Just wish I had a nickel for every time a thread like this is posted.

    @ Frank: I agree, a sticky for the 'designer brands' issue will be most helpful. :) Thanks for your suggestion. I'm sure this will be looked into soon, as we always strive in improving the site the best way we can. :)
