  Hi everyone....
  I am just about to set up my own business as an after school hours maths tutor (I am a qualified and practising teacher) and have just spent a small fortune buying the maths resources needed. I had to buy them all in Australia as that was easy at the time, but of course they all say 'Made in China' on the labels. I have searched and searched online for them but just am having zero luck! If anybody can help I would be extremely grateful!
  
  Specifically I am after:
  1. Plastic dice (have only found novelty types so far)
  2. Playing cards
  3. Plastic counters (have only been able to find poker chips, which aren't suitable)
  4. Plastic 2D and 3D shapes (these are hugely expensive in Australia)
  5. Childrens calculators
  
  Plus any other maths-type item out there!
  I've actually put a similar thread like this on here before, I got some good replies, but they were only really aimed at stationary supplies.

  and you may also find calculators here. However I believe the minimum order Is currently $50, I am not very sure of Australia currencies.
  
  They have a wide selection of "Math-type" items located In this store, at wholesale prices.
  
  As for the Plastic 2D and 3D containers you can probably find that either on the wholesaler website I have just given you, or you can check this website

  So far I was not able to find any plastic geometric shapes suppliers but I did manage to locate the following suppliers:

  They are Chinese suppliers for wooden educational toys - many of which you can use while tutoring Math (although none of their products are made of plastic).
  
  Also I suggest visiting and doing a product search on this supplier's site link hidden they have a number of math related products - flash cards, geometry sets, books and geometric wooden blocks.
  
  I'll try to run another search off-SaleHoo for plastic geometrical shapes. As soon as I am able to locate suitable suppliers for you, I will let you know right away.
