Ipod prices inc shipping to the UK payment is by Wire Transfer (I know) but this is a person who has a very high rating on Ebay Apple reseller 99.2% rating. Can I trust this guy ?

Am I likely to find better ? I have searched long and hard and this is my best so far if any of you are getting these alot cheaper please let me know if you are, I dont exspect you to tell me your supplier but just simply can I get cheaper ? I do have to pay alot of Import Tax I must say its 17.5% VAT + 9 % Import Tax on top.

I am new to all this and just want to know if I am on the right track.

In my opion you can find better prices. It will be hard to make a profit on ebay after the shipping costs and ebay fees.

I just worked this out on Ebay UK an Apple Ipod 60 GB makes £210+ so say £210 is my target price.

The VAT is 17.5% which is £36.75
The Import Tax is 13.9% which is £29.19

£36.75 + £29.19 = £65.94

£210 - £65.94 = £144.06 ( $270 USD )

I need to get them for $270 to break even how do people do this I do not know I notice one seller on Ebay mp3directuk is selling 20-30 per day his sale prices ranging from £210-£240 and his stock is in the UK already.


How do people like this make a profit please help me I am confused ????

Just a quick note. It doesn't take a genius to look at how many people are selling iPods on Ebay, maybe there is a message in there? DONT SELL iPODS! The competition is absolutely insane, I would advise starting out with accessories, that is what I did, and I was making 300-400% profit per item.
seriously, stay away from the from the iPod game, the competition is far too great, and the ipod you are likely to find that are really cheap and could give you a good profit, are probably fake.

I tell you this from a history of trying to make ipods sellable, it doesnt work.
