I tried selling the 90 day powerseller challenge book and got not a single bid on it. I emailed the author and asked for permission to use his template and everything. I only tried it one time and listed about 10 ebooks for sale in a 7 day time frame, trying to keep in mind the good times and days for successful sales. I also bought 97 books from a seller with resale rights but find it is alot of hard work to come up with an ad that sells. I don't have alot of time or experience to come up with a fancy page to sell these ebooks and I believe they do better when you have a store. I figure I only spent $15.00 of my own money and got some valuable information and lots of books to read at my own leisure, but as far as making money on them, :roll:

Hey Pammy,,If you are going to sell ebooks, you need to either have an ebay store or your own website, or at the very least a hosting site where your customers and go and download their ebooks..

As far as the ads,,you might try looking at the completed listings on ebay and see which sellers are successful and then look at their ads..Then don't copy it, but try to use the same format,,that is same size fonts, colors and pitch..just make it your own version...

In additional it's hard to sell the same ebooks that everyone else is selling or that are just out of date...What you ideally need to do is to create your own ebook on subjects that you are familiar with..Just about any type of ebook can be sucessful in any catagory..You just have to market it and make it available..One of the best ways to do this is to find a subject that is pretty popular and offer that product as an enticely low price..Just enough to cover your fees..then when you make sales on those books, capture their email address and make additional book offers to your email list..Also think about offering a free newsletter and then you can also offer to that list as well..Use your "about me" page to offer your newsletter and also when you do sell a book make sure that you send an email "order received" or thank you notice and include a link pointing to your store and or website....

If you don't have much writing skills, then buy a software that will write the ebooks for you,,such as "instant article wizard" these programs will pretty much do the book for you in just a few minutes on any subject you type in the box...

Too you might want to align yourself with some of the more successful writers and sellers that have affiliate programs, and just sell their stuff and get a percentage of the profits from their books that you sell or the traffic that you send to their site buys...

The only problem with selling Ebooks on Ebay is thats its saturated, so you have to either link several together and sell them as an "elibrary".

You also have to keep up with fresh content, I have several ebooks i sell week in week out and I introduce 2 or 3 every week, test them for 2 weeks, then decide which are profitable.

I have a membership website going live in a week, here I am offering over 40 PLR Private Label Rights products, so you can badge them up with your website and sell them for whatever you want. The website will have at anyone time $108,000 of ebooks ready to download and sell.

The real downside of Ebay, is if you offer a product and someone copies it it becomes a nightmare, I've had people threaten my with death because I left negative feedback for them copying my listing! AFTER ebay removed there ad for copying my listing!!

I have cracked a unique way that has more traffic than Ebay and isnt full of low life! I am tending to target my marketing to that for new items and I can average $250 per day PROFIT for ebooks, set then forget!
