Can anyone give me specific items that they have gotten in Jimmy's sample packs. I'm thinking of ordering one but I want to check out ebay and amazon to see what these products are selling for. I know it's random stuff, but I'm just curious what people have gotten in the past.

No, it's not a scam, and I think you'll have better luck if you post your question in jimmy's feedback thread, or one that is currently running regarding these items.

You could contact Jimmy directly via PM to get the information.

Sample packs are a mixed bag. I don't even know what is included as I dont build all of them. Most are random small items from different pallets. But they are not geared for a big set profit they are just samples. Just to give you an idea of liquidations and If you really want to get into liquidations. We have had many people say on the forums they have made great profit just on the samples. Thats great to hear. But we have had some that say they barely made anything on their samples.

I guess it just depends on what you get and also how well you can prepare and present the items for resale. We try to be as honest as possible and let you know there is risk in liquidations. But liquidations is the Most profitable way of making money. We have done it for years and I have lived on selling liquidations for a few years now.

The samples are only supposed to be a taste of what you can get. We released the sample program to attract new customers. When you see some of the items in a sample you ultimately make a decision weather liquidations is a business you want to get into. Ultimately the Bigger and best items are found on pallets.

There are bad items and there are good items. But you will make your best profits on a pallet or truckload as a larger order does have way more potential. And in price a larger order will have a much higher value in products for what you actually pay for them. A $500 pallet can have as much as $5,000 in products on it. From My experience. I generally sell a pallets contents for around $2800 If Im only paying $900 for that pallet that leaves me about $1300 in profits after ebay fees and expenses.. So far we have about a 95% repeat buyer rate on pallets. So we know that pallets are our best sellers.

It's not a scam. We have purchased from Jimmy as well. Why do you think he would scam you when he is in this forum every day? Wouldn't that be kinda bad for business?

My two cents.

They really are just sample packs. But I sold a Ralph Lauren Tankini for 60$ and a pandigital 7" digital photo album for 55$ final bid on eBay. I have a DeLonghi toaster oven which is up on eBay now for 60$ best offer.

Most of the other stuff in it were knickknacks. 2 bunny slippers new, a decent hunting knife, oh yea, I forgot, a 2 way cobra radio system with charger and batteries. Another one piece bathing suit and the rest, a couple of hand towels and face cloths.

I expect to just break even.

I would purchase a sample pack to gain trust and get your feet wet so to speak.

Don't expect to profit to much from them though you might get lucky and get a nice allotment.

Thanks for all the info guys, that was exactly what I was looking for. I do have one more question though. How many items am I looking at in a sample order as opposed to a pallet? I know it's not exact becasue the orders differ, but just an average will give me some idea of what I'm looking at. Thanks again.

If your talking about the smallest sample Our $99 samples you're looking at 8-15 small items in a sample Vs 60-180 small to large items in a pallet.

If your going by cost to what you get the pallets have a way better value.
Lets say you spread out the item in your sample and pallet on a flat surface. A sample may fill your couch cushions a pallet will fill your living room.

im glad somebody asked about these sample packs, thank you. im intrested in them for 2 reasons, i wont have the room for a whole pallet for a couple months and im scared of getting scammed. so this would be a great chance to taste the market. but what im wondering is, are me and my friend the only ones that are having trouble buying them? we click on the sample pack and it says our kart is empty and directs us back to the main page. it's probably something simple and i'll probably feel dumb once i figure it out. there was no phone # to contact them and i was going to email them, then i found saw this forum

You'll have to confirm this with Jimmy, but I am under the impression that he has folded his sample pack program.

When you're talking about dealing in the liquidation business, there are quite a few areas you have to watch for in particular, make a wrong step and you can buy yourself a pile of garbage.

Best thing you can do is ask question, after question, after question, and if anyone involved in the industry doesn't want to take the time to answer, then that's a good indication of someone not to do business with!

This trade is like any other business, you are trying to build a good open working relationship with your clients because return business is good business for both parties involved. Best way to do that from a businesses point is through Customer Service!

Business 101 -: Customer Service is the front line of any sales, and is the first line of defence when there is an issue after a sale. If the customer service is week in either area, then the business has a serious problem because that will mean either sales will suffer, or they will drown in complaints from unsatisfied customers.

Either one is an unpleasant death for any business.

Unfortunately there are some in every field that only ever think two steps ahead of where they currently are, and only focus on making a sale. If a business is not thinking 20 steps ahead of where they need be, then they may well be putting the clients better interests in harms way in an effort for that one sale, and that will not only hurt the client, but it will come straight back to bite the business on the PATOOTIE sooner or later!

Btw, I don't sleep, what's good for the Phanton is good for the Fudjj : )
