Bad Experience With Auction.com

Bad Experience With Auction.com

I joined this auction site and had a bad experience.
It cost 8.95 to post your items and you pay extra for the
features, however they have a lot of fraud. I posted approx
28 items and received a lot of bids, but everyone
of the bidders were fake or unrealistic...I sent the winning
bidders an invoice and 100% did not have a paypal
account and did not respond to the invoice.

Than to make things worse, the lisiting that
I paid to feature were re-listed auotmatically
by Auction.com My credit card kept being charged.

I did not re-list them, Auction.com re-listed them. When I relized
what was happening I asked to close my account and they failed to
respond....I end up with paying the fees for featured
listing, by the time I knew it I was charged over a 100 dollars
on my credit card.

I would have not minded the charge but 100%
of the winning bidders were fraud......not one
paid. I did not ship any merchandise but I was
very disappointed with the results....

I suggest stay away, they have very poor customer
support and no fraud prevention.

PS: I finally sent a message telling them I was
going to request my credit card company for
a charge back, and they finally responded and
closed my account.

That sucks! Sounds like the whole site is a scam. Sorry about that but thanks for the info.

Yea! I though I hit the jackpot. I was
sending invoices like crazy, and getting
zero responces. I even sent them 2-3
times as reminders. Still got nothing!

I agree I would do not trust auction.com at all.

One of my friends just bought some mobile phones from one of the sellers, she tranferred her payment and they emailed her a tracking number with UPS and the phones never arrived and when she called UPS she found out that the tracking that was given to her was a fake. These guys have made there own UPS website that looks identical and you can even track (or at least you beleive youre tracking) your item. :x

Very sad to hear you were also scammed by this site

I have had a bad experience with a supplier of electronics named Rancak Ponsel in Indonesia.

I have sent the payment by T/T for the goods that I have ordered and when I asked about delivery they said that the order was cancelled as I had not sent enough funds(I sent the correct amount that had been quoted).
This is a scam,do not have anything to do with this company.
