How is everyone making out with getting refunds from Jimmy and PPWDG? I personally have been unable to get a refund and unable to get any kind of response from him and his company. Anyone having any better luck?

Hi jmcollins,

Have you tried sending an email to his personal email address? If you haven't, please give it a try. Here it is: ** Link Removed: Only Available to Registered Members**

We do hope that things will work out for you, especially regarding the refund he owes you.

Cheers! :)

Yes I have sent a couple of emails to that address and received no response. It would be great to get my refund that I am owed but I'm not all that hopeful.

Just in case nobody has seen this. These are the "Last Words" of the elusive Jimmy Huber on his dead-end forum.

Hello everyone. New customers and regular customers.

I am making a formal announcement that I am terminating all Current Services for ** Link Removed: Only Available to Registered Members**
All samples and single pallet orders will be terminated as of today.
I will be redesigning this site completely over the next few weeks and shutting the doors on many of my best programs.
Now for my regulars and new potential customers "I am not shutting the doors on you". I am simply restructuring my entire process.
We have endured too long with small buyers expecting great riches on small orders or not paying any attention to our shipping policy of pre-Orders only.

Because of this I am transforming this into a more commercial Liquidation Business. Only Serious Buyers need order.

From now on
*All buyers will be quoted Prices on Pallets and truckloads. No more Value Pallets. Or value truckloads.
*All truckload sales will be custom built to the amount you budget for.
*We only sell pallets and truckloads. (no more samples)
*Pallets and truckloads will be shipped VIA freight carrier. No more fedex home deliveries.
*If you are shipping to you home then Lift gate delivery will be required.
*All buyers will be required to sign the defacing agreement and fax/email this agreement to me.
*Payments will be wire transfer only. (No more credit card Offers)

We will have small deals that you can purchase on the site. But besides this there will be no more small orders.

I do apologize to some of our small buyers but this is a change that must be made or I will just shut down this site completely. This site itself has not produced any revenue since it opened and has been supported by my truckload sales, ebay, amazon and local sales here in Decatur. None of my small order programs have generated enough revenue for me to waste countless hours on. Its hurting other things I do that actually do make a profit. We've priced our lines well below profitable margins to generate sales and none of it has been profitable aside from truckload sales we have had from this site. And all I have had is guff and problems with the site itself. Although I have had thousands of customers the very few that have a bad experience just want to compound their problems on others. I would rather be low volume and make my buyers money then be high volume and deal with people that do not understand this business.

We will be working on shipments over the next few weeks. We just had a huge truck delivered and will be working on getting those orders shipped out and any back orders we have will ship as well.

We hope these changes will not only help our company but increase the sales and revenue of our current client base.

WOW, didn't see that coming. I personally didn't think that there where would be anyway froward with PPWDG after this mess, and a couple before it, but there you go, the doors are still open.

Well guys, I guess that means that his forum looks like a place to start asking questions again, and ask them quick because I would suspect that the restructuring would actually see the forum close!

I just want to let everyone know that after filing for a refund with my credit card company they:

1. Placed my funds in an escrow account and notified me that it would take about a week to investigate.
2. Four (4) days later they credited my account in full.

Mine was the oldest un-filled pallet order on record (dated Jan 19).
I hope this encourages everyone to follow up as instructed by Jimmy through the help of the SaleHoo Staff because, although inconvenient, I got my money back and now can move forward with my plans (with a 5 month delay).

Glad to hear it worked out for you. Makes me wish I would have used a credit card instead of a debit card. The bank won't help me since its a debit card.

There has to be something about claiming on a debit card, this is crazy.

Anyone with any ideas, post them so we can get some direction on this.

Don, your ebay idea is an interesting one. I'm of the belief that jimmy's weak spot is his productsplus ebay account. He is only showing his arrogance and sheer contempt to those he has taken for a ride because he feels secure in knowing that his golden goose is locked away safely in the barn.

I've been trying to come up with a way to impact on that account, In think if even a threat to that account was perceived by jimmy, it would bring him out into the open to try and cover the potential damage he would suffer should he loose that account.

Ebay is the weak spot, but we need to find an effective way of dealing with ebay, or even enough to make jimmy believe that the threat is genuine.

Hey Marc,

Yes it really makes me wonder how many ebay accounts Jimmy has because that all seems very shady and yes that would make sense that he wasn't trying to hide that account for all his good reasons behind it. Hmm I don't know if anyone here has legal knowledge but my sister is a corporate lawyer. Maybe I will try and get some information from her and share it here if its legal of course.

If you could get some feedback from your sister don, that would fantastic, especially if she had any ideas on getting refunded on debit card purchases.

I know it's not her field, but you can assure from me, that any info she can provide on these topics is not just appreciated by you, but but our entire membership and staff!

Anyone else with access to legal information, see what you can do to help out these guys They are not rich and can afford to be taken like this, and as a community I would love to see us pull together and find some solutions for them.

Too many people get taken like this every day in this industry, and if our membership can contribute to a solution this time round, then we can all be proud of our effort!
