One dollar for refund for bags costing me $86. Cn you belive that. What a joke.
Stay away from them. Their products are rubbish nd they won't refund your money

Thanks for your information, quite useful it is for other buyers.

At next time, do more research. No matter who you are dealing with, no matter where they are from, alibaba or tradekey or dhgate. Those sites are not responsible for keeping scammers away.

Sorry to hear you are having issues with DHGATE Management. I too am having issues. I purchased 5 x mobile phones from a so called powerseller on DHGATE, at a cost of over $800, when they arrived, the phones were fake, and the boxes that they came in were photocopied flat packed bits of cardboard. Absolute rubbish. I then sent the seller 20 emails stating i wanted to return the items, and he babbled some rubbis about him not being liable for tax costs when the phones arrive back to him, so i must then pay that. NO WAY. When i contacted DHGATE, it took them 3 weeks to get back to me, and they offered me a payment of $320. I mean where is the justice in that.??
DHGATE IS ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH. I CANT BELIEVE THEY ARE EVEN ADVERTISED ON THIS SITE.

I had the same problem, Here was my issue:

I bought 2 n96 cell phones, and I never recieved them! This was 2 months ago that I payed and i am still in the process of trying to get my money back then I bought some locaste shirts from a seller for over $500 thinking maybe the first time was an accident but once again I got rubbish, all I got was cloth with an extremely fake torn up looking crocodile picture not even sown on correctly. That one as well I had to pay almost $200 to have the items sent back just so that I can have my money refunded but seriously I wouldn't even be able to sell those shirts as they were plain junk! The so called safe system is anything but that, just like alibaba. I would rather buy in the U.S. pay a little more and actsually recieve good items. Right now I only purchase from ILelectronics.com and I always recieve my items!

All buyers beware of seller LICHARD on DHGATE.COM. He claims to sell "original Nokia phones" but i can tell you, after purchasing items from him, they certainly are not real. I received the phones in a box, with all the so called original Nokia packaging flat packed. All the so called accessories were not genuine Nokia goods either, they were cheap copies. When i got them all out to have a look at, all the packaging was photo copied cardboard, and all the manuals were crudely photocopied and stuck together. Hence to say i filed a dispute with DHGATE straight away. It has taken 3 months to finally get the sellers return address so i can send these fake phones back. I am now waiting for a full refund from DHGATE, who state it shud be in my account within 10 days. I think im the lucky one on this transaction, at least im getting my funds back. At first DHGATE wanted to refund me less than a third of what i paid for these fakes, but after keeping the pressure on, they have finally agreed to pay me in full. Moral of the story, just be careful on that site, most of the so called originals are fakes.

Just as a foot note to the story above, it's not most of the brand names from China are fakes, in fact they are all fakes, and I mean from China as a whole, not just from D&H Gate.

Do yourself a favour and save your money if you are looking for cheap brand name products from China, it just doesn't happen, no matter what you are told!

Do not deal with a seller called ARMY, he has power seller rating but when i bought 10 pairs of white GHDs from him he sent 6 pairs in bashed up,torn boxes and took all the money, when i contacted him he stated that he sent me 12 pairs, he said he sent me 2 for free, yeh right. when i asked for a soloution to the problem. he stopped emailing me back, he pulles you in with a few small orders and when you think he is a good seller he stings you on the big ones. i paid $600 and got nothing, 3 pairs didn't even work.

i am also supose to beable to submit my dispute to dhgate to handle and the just ignore you aswell.

beware this guy ARMY. HE IS A RIP OFF ARTIST.

An alternative people might consider when dealing with Chinese companies is to employ the services of a product sourcing agency that deals in the Chinese market. If you can find the right company, they might cost you a few dollars up front, but they have the potential to save you a lot of drama, as well as a lot of wasted money.

Next best thing to being there yourself in my opinion.

jimmy if DHGate is so rough to deal with why are they listed here on salehoo ? I paid to be protected by you guys , and DHGate claims to have an escrow system . Does this not work anyone ? jimmy_salehoo,
