Maurice from ***Deleted by Admin*** has been spamming this forum with bad deals and Western Union and bank transfers as his sole payment solutions.

Not only is his payment method extremely risky but his pricing is terrible.

He is trying to pawn off refurbs at retail and above retail prices.

There are no model numbers or certainty on his site as to whether an item is new or refurb.

My guess is he is either trying to sell us stuff he is getting from Bestbuy and other places or he is just flat out trying to rip us off.

My guess is he's buying from places you and I could easily buy from and then trying to flip them on us and make a quick buck at terrible prices.

Either way, I don't think he is acting in your or my best interests.

Example:
Maurice is selling a refurb Wll for 289 which you or I can get from BestBuy for 249.00 BRAND NEW!

I don't think anyone would buy anything anyway. My opinion hes probably a legit bloke with an awful business.

Planes has a personal vendetta against this bloke! Looks like that shrimp really was nasty!

No vendetta. But when you have been in business for awhile you get sick of
the BS and people who don't have a clue on how to do business.

When someone tells you how great their prices are and they can be beat by the retail staor you start to get p*ssed.

I think most of us know what you're saying planes. I was just having the same conversation with bevsey, and I am of the opinion that we are going to be faced with more and more brokers entering the market.

They all seem to see it as an easy in, list some products that you have sourced yourself and make a fortune. The stupid thing is that they will usually find a market.

There is always some idiot ready to give their cash away for an over priced product, simply because they are too lazy to do the research.

I would love to know just how many genuine wholesalers there are listed here, and I mean genuine. Not the ones listed as wholesaler/dropshipper.

I cringe when I see a question asking for any good dropshippers/wholesalers?

If you can afford to buy wholesale you would need to be insane to dropship products, and if you can only afford to dropship products you shouldn't be asking for a wholesaler.

The two are not even closely related, and service two completely different markets.

They are going to be making some changes here soon, and cleaning up that directory would be a nice place to start.

It's a free world, and if someone wants to promote their brokerage then I have no issues with that, so long as they are a legit business. However, list them as they are, not as wholesalers.

Same as Chinese fakes, they supply a market that is looking for those products, but list them in their own directory so new members don't make the stupid mistake of thinking that the branded products are genuine, and the company must be fine because they are simply listed here.

Make the directory listings clear to make what is currently a mismatch of information into a clear and understandable directory.

Again Fudjj, I couldn't agree with you more. I just get so darn annoyed with
sellers sometimes. Who knows, there may be a forum somewhere where there is a post that says try to get into Salehoo, there's a bunch of suckers there. I know probably not, but it sure seems that way sometimes. Heck why would someone buy a membership here to hawk overpriced merchandise?

About dropshipping. I have found two out of the many I have researched that are good and that I make money from. It used to be three when MVM was still doing it.
One of them from here. Now I think Northern Value might be decent, I haven't used them and there is some others that look promising.

And if I were ever to buy from asia, I would probably go there first.

Maybe someone should start an Asian buyers team to visit Hong Kong and ship direct from there to buyers here. Anyone know how to speak Cantonese?

Don't worry planes, I'm sure it's not just Salehoo that these idiots target with their over priced merchandise, I recon they would be hitting every avenue they think the fish will bite.

Over 50,000 members, if I were a scammer Salehoo would be on my radar for sure, well worth dropping a membership fee to see how big the bites are. Just imagine what it would be like on some of the free sites.......yikes!

There are so many newbies trying to get into the market that the odds must be pretty good for picking up the odd sucker or two, I'm sure.

I've really got my fingers crossed that they sort out the directories here soon, get rid of all the crap and list suppliers for what they really are, not what they say they are.

This listing wholesaler/dropshipper, that is driving me nuts!

Looking for an Asian connection, Singapore might the man mate. Tigerjab was also supposed to be doing a run to Brazil to check out some trade shows around this time, so he may well arrive back with some interesting info.

I know some companies near to me.You will need to be a real company and buy in large bulk.Your better off buying from the main distributors from your own country.I know some small companies but they as alot of others want paid western union/bank transfer. Also i checked some of the prices from a few of the companies and, the prices are not that great.(electronics brand name)
But i can also visit shops here and buy at wholesale cost for some items.Such as the electric fly swatter.
I have bought shawls and scarves straight out and resold also. Also they have many expos where you get stuff dirt cheap. It works if your able to go in person.I was at a expo in HK recently.Brand name shirts polo 5.00usd (1) pc.You couldnt even get to the front of the booths to buy! 4gb memory sticks 3.00usd etc etc

I wish I had read this post some time ago. I found kentucky dreams on this forum. Maurice had promised me 10 wii fits, I sent him the money, I never received the wii fits, he kept lying to me about how they got shipped else where etc. I filed a complaint with BBB and I got another story from him. I want to see his web site come down, he is a liar and cheat and still owes me money.

Sorry to hear about your situation Sandy, but thanks for warning others about the site.

We knew something didn't smell right about it, but now you have actually confirmed it for everyone.

Doesn't matter where you find the site listed, even if you find it here, if you aren't sure, just post the question to see if any other members has any feedback for you.

The forum is very effective for testing out suppliers.

Fudjj
Thanks for the support, I can give proof, I feel so stupid spending that amount of money. Maurice is a very smooth talker and writes very well but not to be trusted, this guy has made a scamming a science..posting his last email to me ( where is my money smooth talker)

read below:
"I can refund half now out of my own personal account. Nintendo Wii's are made in China, and the are not the easiest to deal with, nor can I just call a number to get refunded. I apologize for your delay, and I didn't get a "A" rating from BBB from scamming everyone. Obviously, many customers had to have been satisfied and had to have received their products, I also have positive feedback on ebay. Again, I'm sorry, I have hired a Chinese representative to represent my company and prosecute the supplier that ran with my money. You and a few others have been involved and that is not how I operate. I will process your refund soon. I have applied for a business loan so you and the other don't have to wait any longer.

I understand your frustration and $1000 is a lot of money. I'm not making excuses, I just didn't expect this to ever happen. I have been in business for a long time and never been burned like this. The economy is bad and suppliers are falling off left and right. Secure websites have disappeared overnight that have been going for 10+ years and after this is handled, I don't know if I will continue to do anything in the gaming industry as this last round of orders have caused my company great nightmares. Please know that I am working diligently to correct the problem and I truly am sorry for what it's worth.

Sincerely sorry,

Maurice Spaulding

I think its down to salehoo to sort this matter out.

They really shouldnt be allowing non-registered advertisers to sell their products.

Hi bevsey123,

We've been trying to trace the original post or advertisement made by Kentucky dreams but i can only see this thread and one where his site was suggested by another member.

Would you happen to know how he was introduced to the forum?

Your input is highly appreciated as always:)
