I ordered a case of powerplayer video games from them for a total cost of 274 usd. I finally received them and tried one out. It didn't work. I tried a second one and that didn't work. I contacted the company asking for a refund. They answered back they do not accept returns on electronics. Ok Maybe I missed it. They went on to tell me "good news". It appears the units that were shipped were internally locked. I could contact the distributer to find out how to unlock them. Wait a minute! How can I resell these if I have to open the package? Furthermore, They were not advertised as internally locked if they were not promoted as take out of the box and play I would not have bought. I have posted good things about their jewelry but I am sad to say I can not recommend them anymore. I am a single mom trying to move into new merchandise on ebay and a hit like that just set me back further than I can take. Oh well lesson learned.

Im not sure whats going on here as in the whole situation. But Im hoping this is something that joes staff told you. Joe hangs out here.

Joe is there anything you can do for her? Maybe you can help her out? Increase your business from her in another way?

If you read the information provided in our terms and services, we do not allow refunds on any electronic equipment, including the PowerPlays.

However, there is good news for you, Nikki. It seems these units were shipped with the internal power switch in the OFF position, although I cannot tell you exactly how to turn the switch on, by contacting our vendor who handles the Power Play units, they can talk you through this simple process.

I am requesting the contact info for whom you can talk directly to, and will update this ticket as soon as I get that information.

This is the email they sent me after I complained two random games from the same case of plug and play video games would not load. Umm would you buy a "brand new" electronic with tampered plastic wrap and the unit obviously jimmied open? HMMMM I wouldn't think so. Worse they were advertised as "just pull out of case and put on your retail shelf or list them one by one on ebay or your website." I'm not thinking so. I am glad I tried them before I received negative feedback from a buyer. I am still trying to build feedback and I'm sure the more experience sellers out there are cringing right now. Not only that, the jewelry I ordered on the same day has yet to arrive.

send them back we will refund and we are sorry a simple sliding of a switch has caused you hassle?

You mention a jewelry order that hasnt arrived?
Do you have the order date and order number?

Ps was not our intention to sell the games
the require the turning on of a switch to come on?
I am sorry and as a result we have removed them from our site and will focus on jewelry and other goods we have control over :) We work with 35 vendors plus on our site and when issues pop up we get them fixed. All business people have issues its part of business its how the company responds is what is important..... Thanks Joe

Nikki since you have posted the comments in the forum about our firm being bad lesson learned I have the desire to resolve this in the open so people can see the dispute resolved...

ps. I'm not a electronics dummy. I know the difference between an external on and off switch and an internal. I grew up playing video games and know how to turn them on and set them up. :D
