Be careful chikindy, that's all I can say. If you are going to buy an unbranded product through dh, then find a supplier with solid feedback, but if you are about to purchase a brand name....you are about to purchase a FAKE.

Good luck!

DO NOT BUY BRANDED PRODUCTS FROM DH GATE!
if you buy unbranded, then still be careful.
I Bought 10 GHD straighteners to find out they are fakes. I am currently seeking a refund, as are my customers.

I might add to this: Recently I bought 10 SHURE microphones via DHGate from seller 'yahoo 365'. They are no fakes! Perhaps he is the 'solid man' You all wished for...

most of the products on the DH is fakes.
so be cautious with them.
i am a chinese guy
i could compare the price on DH with the price on the biggest online market.
you could distiguish the brand name product and the fake according to the price.
search for "the ins and outs" of any product in china before you import from china.

""FREE SHIPPING +New Nintendo Wii Game Console System(Cracked Version)+30 most valuable games for free""

What does everyone think to the above offer, they seem a reliable seller from the feedback status but would this be illegal to sell in the UK ? Also would there be taxes/customs charges on delivery to the UK ?

Direct link below :-

Any help would be appreciated...

Well, I just ordered some software from Dhgate. I just ordered 3 items to try it out. When I chose the one I wanted to order from (which I took about 1 hr to research this product) I also checked their feedback. This particular one had over 300 feedback and it was very good. I also emailed them about authenticity of product and if it could be registered and I was emailed back within 1 day and she stated that she sells many product for ebayers. She suggested that I order just 1 item to check it out before ordering a lot of them. I was impressed with the promptness of the email and suggestion of ordering just 1. I paid through my paypal CC and the order was in my email the next day stating it has been shipped. I guess I will see if it is on the up and up very soon. Wish me luck!!

You will find good and bad sellers on all sourcing sites. DHGate is no different. I have found several very good sellers on sourcing sites such as dhgate, alibabi, and square trade. You just have to do the research. Normally when a seller is willing to send you a single sample and follow up with emails shows that they are confident in their product. It also shows that they have good customer service. These types of sellers are looking to form long term relationships and not just make a quick profit from a one time sell. ...

Usually the sellers who avoid answering your questions and are not willing to provide a sample are the ones who are normally out to scam buyers and make a quick one time profit and move on to the next buyer. They normally depend and prey on the new buyers and inexperienced buyers to make a quick profit..

Any sound business depends on repeat customers more than they do on new customers. You will always make more on a lifetime customer even if you are making a smaller profit per sale, than you will on a one time customer. Thats why a good business will always have good customer service..

Am i reading the right forum, DHGATE.COM,
Jesus guys/girls, if you want any electronic goods, stay well away from DHGATE.COM. 99.9% of their top sellers sell fake goods. I tried to purchase 5 items from that site, from a trusted seller, who stated that the items were 100% genuine, guess what, they werent. The 5 items arrived flatpacked, i had to make the photocopied boxes up, and the manuals had also been photocopied. I will not be buying from this site again.
Good luck chikindy if you really wanna risk it.
