Samyibiz is a DHgate seller, but he put his card together with the T-shirts I bought from him and told me that if I bought in his store outside DHgate I would get much better prices. He has a rather impressive online store with much better prices than he has in DHgate. I placed an order there. A link directly to PayPal came up, and I paid for the order. Now, more than 3 days has passed and the order still shows on his website like it's unpaid. I have tried several times to send him website messages, emails and even tried to find him in his msn chatting address as well as his yahoo chatting address, but nothing works. From hotmail as well as yahoo, I got a message back that no one had this email addresses that showed up in his website.

He may of course had some internet connection trouble, but I'm really starting to be nervous about this. Therefore, I would appreciate very much if someone knew anything about this company.

Since your business deal was done outside of DHgate then you may not be able to file a dispute through them. But have you tried leaving a comment or post in his store on DHgate?

From you said things don't seem to look too good from your end, why not initiate a charge back since you paid him through PayPal? Or if you like, you can try sending him an email one more time and give him another 72 hours before initiating the charge back, that way if he is having an internet connection trouble he should have enough time to secure a better connection to be able to reply to you.

I had a look at their website ** Link Removed: Only Available to Registered Members** and did a Google search on them. I found one review and the buyer got the item but it was found to be fake.

As suggested by Richelle, please try to contact them again. If you were not aware that their products are fake, let them know of this and request for a refund. If you still get no reply, your last resort would be to file a chargeback.

If you are after branded goods, better stick with US/UK suppliers and stay away from Chinese suppliers as you'll most likely end up with fake goods.

Maybe you should have read this prior to accepting the deal offered by that particular supplier:

"What if a seller offers to sell me something directly, bypassing DHgate?

If you receive offers from the sellers to complete transactions directly without going through DHgate we urge you not to respond and to notify us as soon as possible. If you accept to deal directly with a seller you will have no one to turn to should your items not arrive or not be what you expect. DHgate cannot help you get an exchange or refund if you choose to forgo our services during the buying process. With our escrow service, the payment is not released until we're sure that you are satisfied with your purchase."
