I wrote to you through here and through the ** Link Removed: Only Available to Registered Members** and I have not heard back from either of you about my niece's refund. The invoice # is 898, the order # is 60878645. It was ordered on July 23, 2008, and the order could not be filled. Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I took care of that now. You should have confirmation email shortly. Thanks for reminding me.

Hey Kenn. I asked my wife to pull the tracking number up for you and she stated its not a tracking number, Its a reference number for the transaction and for an insurance claim if the package is Damaged or lost. And it only works if she logs into her USPS account. For some reason I kept thinking that those numbers we actually a tracking number too.Im sorry for misleading you. I really thought it was a tracking number.

Hi Jimmy, If this is the case how are we suppose to track or query any issues with our Australian Postal Service should our order "not" turn up (gets lost) or is delayed?!?
I have tried calling our Australian Postal Service to try and check for any information on this order ourselves and it is virtually impossible to do this without a tracking number or a consignment number. Can you please ask your wife to check on the shipping progress of our order and if she can update us as to where our order currently is or if it has already arrived in Australia. Do you have a consignment note number or any other details that we could possible use to check on this please? ...one last thing, can you let me know how many parcels we should be expecting as well.
Sorry, I don't mean to be a pain but it would really be appreciated if we could find out more about the progress of our shipment.

It was actually pretty easy to order as I didn't have to order Pack pallets since I haven't finished working on that new program yet. No sense in ordering stuff I don't need yet.

Im really wanting to get more store stock for the packs. Most of the pallets avaliable unfortunately have been alot of CR. As the store stock they have avaliable lately are pallets of stuff that I dont want. And probably wont sell good this time of year. CR is great for pallets but not the best for Packs unless you have some decent store stock to add into them.

I did get to order a few pallets for me so that makes me happy. I can finally get back to my hardcore listing runs and make me some money for a change hehe.

Apologies for being a newb or missing it browsing through the salehoo site but I'm curious as to why the CR are better for pallets and not for the packs? Also, what is the stuff you're referring to when you say that stuff doesn't sell well this time of year - swimwear or bermuda shorts? After all, if it's not the season for the item in one area it could be in another.

I remember you saying in one of your posts that you preferred CR over store stock. I'm starting to get confused :)

Thanks for any info.

Well with the US postal Service There was nothing but delivery confirmation. They have a tracking system they just started with in the US but it sucks beyond all reason. They are still implementing it. I have heard many complaints on the ebay forums that they don't log the package at every checkpoint.

Most of my shipments I have basically been going on Faith. Especially with international customers. This is another big problem with using USPS is that many ebay sellers are being scammed by international buyers because they know USPS packages are near impossible to track down.

One thing we can do is monitor the insurance tag on the package. Since we insure the package USPS will scan the insurance tag upon delivery to the Customer. This tells USPS that the package has actually been delivered. If it has not and they can not show it then I will get reimbursed for the value of the insurance placed on the packs.

I had heard that they were doing tracking in the USA so when I saw the number code on the Label I mistook it for tracking and though cool my packages out of country are tracked. My wife corrected me.

The benifit to shipping with USPS is the cost. Fedex wants around $560 to ship one of these packs to Australia where I believer USPS wants $160 So there is a major price difference that many Businesses choose USPS over Fedex.

It may be some time before the Postal services coordinate to get a better tracking system. But right now its a royal pain in the rear.

Ok what I mean is that the old packs we were using were mixed packs they had a few items from multiple categories. A pallet of customer returns can have 64-100 items on it. A pack may only have 11-17 items in it. But they are only items that can fit into the pack. They are generally smaller items ranging from $30 to $200 in retail value. A pallet has the bigger items. Including items that have a $300-$800 and sometimes even higher value. But some of these items are way to big to fit into a sample pack.

Ansd what Imean about the Store stock I dont want is that right now they have not officially closed out a season yet in the stores. So what they have left are basically older pickings that nobody wanted.

Once they pull out the summer/fall line and move into the winter there will be a huge amount of store stock I can pick from. Currently the lists for Store stock are very small and do not include any Bedding which is a very popular SS category. And they don't have many clothes except for Mens Suits and Petites which are both very expensive categories I cannot use in a sample order yet.

Im still debating on how to put clothes into sample packs as most are pulls directly off the racks. So you might not find many items that have matches.

Its something that we are studying and messing around with currently but we will improve the program as we go and learn the trends that our buyers are interested in.

Hey Jimmy, if you input the customs form number into the USPS site where they ask for the tracking number you an track those international shipments.....It will tell you when it left the US, when it arrives in the destination country, when it comes out of customs, and when it is sent to the recipients' local po and when it is actually delivered. I do it all the time.

WOW im very impressed. Very Detailed and Professional Descriptions. And you did your research very well on the items. Both of them currently at $74.00

I would have to say I probably would have sold them for less then that. Nice job. I look forward to seeing more of your auctions.

All of us have, at some time in our lives, received a gift we neither needed nor wanted. Maybe as a wedding gift, a housewarming gift or even for Christmas.

Im not going to finish this because this in Unique to you and I dont want anyone copying your technique.
I have to say I was very impressed with this note in the Auction. Very creative and unique and will surely increase your bid amounts.

“WOW im very impressed. Very Detailed and Professional Descriptions. And you did your research very well on the items. Both of them currently at $74.00”

I have to say that in everything I've ever had to prepare to sell, research is the key. I take full advantage of every venue I can find that is selling something similar and take note of the way they describe the items, the things they highlight that I might not have thought to highlight. Companies spend millions of dollars paying people to analyze how to market their products and we must tap into that as much as possible without violating anything copy written, which usually does not apply to descriptions, especially bulleted type descriptions. You can also buy the right to use stock photos of people using a product or a product very similar to what you are trying to sell. For instance, buying a stock photo of people sitting enjoying a cup of coffee in your ads for coffee makers. Or someone stepping out of a tub wrapped up in a luxurious bath towels the same color as the one you are selling. There are several sites on line that sell these stock photos, totally legit, and very in expensive. You can use the photos to sell anything you want, you just can't legally resell the photos. And you can use them over and over again if you sell similar things. People like to see how things will fit or be used in their own daily lives and they like to see that presented in a way they can either relate to or aspire to.
Just some thoughts.
Got to get to the gym....I'm slacking off and in jeopardy of getting the dreaded computer-spread junk-in-the-trunk, and I'm not talking about a copy of Excel in the back of my car....

I hope you got that truckload in. Need to keep building my inventory. The high end espresso makers are doing very well and I hope a few of those and much more are coming on this one. Thanks
