How am i supposed to dropship when they do this? even worse, my account is suspended until i provide these photos! what should i do? i cant do anything really?

What is your feedback like?
Trademe have had big problems in the past with people selling PS3s and other high priced items without having any in stock. As a result they are now being super careful.
My guess is your feedback is quite low and that has alerted their suspicions.

Have you tried contacting them in person. Let them know your buisness relies on a dropshipper. As you do not have the means to stock items yourself.

Its possible they expect you to be like most scammers and move on and not fight it. If you dont contact them you will never know.

You can even have them view the mkenterprise website and tell them you buy your products from them.

hi

i have just come across this post in a serach for photo frames lol dont know why it bought this one up.

i have heard from a few people that trade me does not accept dropshipping due to a heap of traders selling goods then placing ther orders only to find there supliers are out of stock it has happened heaps not just once or twice this is why they are asking for proof.

hope you have worked things out with them and happy trading

This is an unfortunate situation. But its no surprise. The media boasts how dropshipping is the ultimate way to make money. But they dont tell you the only way to make money that way is to have your own website that you control. They make it seem like dropshipping is so great for places like ebay and trademe. Its definately not and the scammers have ruined it for all decent people.

I for 1 have had a few run in with Trademe regarding this same problem. The irony is that there are people advertising items on trademe that they don't physically have but seem to get away with it. They've asked that I read their terms & conditions which does state that a seller must possess the item at the time of placing the ad. there's really no way around it so i gave up. Maybe we can get a auction site running purely focusing on dropshipping items only, hmm?. All the best

I was considering advertising Drop Shipping goods on Trade Me. Your mail to this forum just come at a good time for me.
I have written to Trade Me and advised that drop shipping is an ethical and legitimate way to sell items. I have asked Trade Me to clarify whether drop shipping advertising is acceptable on their site.
I advised Trade Me that any drop shippers used by me would be proven and recognised as genuine through the Salehoo community.
Perhaps if we both approach Trade Me with similar recommendations, we may get a result.
Of course any suggestions have to be acceptable to Salehoo.
