Liquidation?

Post mslilly 20/06/2006 01:32

I think you'd be ok, bidding on new items only ... you never know what you'll get on shelf pulls or salvage?

I saw some awesome lots of clothing on their last week, brand new, nice boutique style - but the auction went way up there.

I never get close to winning, the auctions go way to high for me.

I can't find a sniper to snipe the auctions either...

I use sniper.com for Ebay. Works great! :) :)

Well got some stuff that was marked salvage yesterday. I looked at the pics before I bought. 3/4 was camera cards, other 1/4 laptop and computer memory. Tested all the camera cards, only had 3 that were bad, rest were fine. They were returns from a well known electronics store in the US. You def. need to check them since 3 had pics on them.

Taken directly from ripoffreport.com:
Liquidation.com failed to deliver auctions I won on their website. After numerous complaints via email and phone calls for 4 weeks they finally refunded me. Thank God they failed to deliver, because after reading about the junks they sell I am glad they didn't send me the stuff. I'd probably be in the same boat as those of you who have paid for worthless junk.

I suffered some financial lost by purchasing fixtures and setup a place to receive the merchandise for a new women clothing store, but hope to sell them.

These people give you the runaround when speaking to them. Always advicing you that they'll contact someone else who would know more about the status of the auctions and get back to you.

Notice that there is not a place on their website to post feedback or comment about your experience buying and selling? And that your questions to the Seller will be sent once it's been approved by them? I never once received an answer to my questions. We're left to seek for information elsewhere, but by that time they'd have already taken us for a ride. Lots of time and money wasted. The defaulted Sellers still continue to sell on their website after they told you that the Sellers will be penalized and the account will be cancelled. They don't follow their own policy.

Someone ought to file a class action lawsuit and put this company out of business. Complaints to as many places as possible. Here are two that I know of and would appreciated if someone know of any other places.

Stay away from Liquidation.com and any other websites they are affiliated with.

Attention!
I am a computer service shop owner. What I've seen on liquidation.com and govliquidation.com was amazing, all looking good. But you know what? They are not!!

liquidation.com and govliquidation.com is a huge RIP-OFF. THE PRODUCTS ARE NOT LIKE THEY STATED. They're so cheap, they hire only one customer REP in Scottsdale AZ. IT takes forever for them to respond to our questions.

Their STAFF at Govliquidation.com (Military bases) ACT like we're begging them for the products. They are very RUDE to us! INSPECTION??? FORGET IT! It is not EASY to do an inspection!

BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BUSINESS.

These people are too greedy to do business (and so is the Government).

ALL OF US should start buying new products from CHINA. They're much cheaper with better quality.

FORWARD THIS TO AS MANY PEOPLE AS YOU CAN.

Much APPRECIATED!!!

this company(if you can call a CO.)a bunch of con artists, this people falsely advertise electronic goods as customer returns from customers to hewlett-packard.but what they really shipped was trash digged out of a trash can."will proof with their pictures and the real ones as product is"

their advertisement says that their staff inspected this merchandise, which means that every one is envolved inthis scam, they even left hewlett-packard notes on products stating that product was return beyond repair such damages are hand helds smashed sceens, missing batteries plus parts, less amount of listed products,etc..etc...
this people rip me off for the amount of $759.50
ireported inmediately via email to wich they respond three days later saying that i had 48 hrs to fill a report giving me false information of where to find such forms, this was mailed per (marcia pryor via RT)buyers relation department.

i am willing to do what ever takes legally against this people that are embarrasing this good industry of e trade "because there some that i have deal with and they inform you of what exactly is being offer".

We purchased 1080 pieces of new clothing from this website auction. Their return policy on the website states that "if you are unhappy for any reason of the purchase you have made, you will have 3 business to file a dispute. We recieved the inferior product we paid $1,557 for about a week after winning the bid. Upon inspection we saw how obviously inferior the product was so we proceeded to file a dispute. The informed us that the dispute was being denied because we recieved "1057 pieces of new clothing" as stated.

We filed a law suit with small claims court but lost. The judges reason, because the law could not decide what an particular items value is. He told us we had been the victims of this company's legal wording. He said the way the website was designed was to make you believe you have the right to a refund if not happy, but in reality they have the last word.

I have filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office for consumer fraud devision and am awaiting a responce. I urge you to NOT use this website auction because what you buy you are stuck with, regardless of what they say, they have been very uncooperative and don't care about their customers. We are out $1557.00 and it's money we can't afford, these peices of clothing you can't even give away. the seams are falling apart and the clothes are so cheaply made you can virtualy seee through them.

liquidation.com lost my merchandise because they failed to update my address - I had updated my account online and verbally given my account rep. my new address. After many phone calls and over 2 months, they finally found my package.

After selling this merchandise on their website, liquidation.com deducted almost half the selling price in fees, but didn't bother to reimburse me for the 2 months I lost. When I called to complain, they didn't return my phone calls and when I finally spoke to an account manager, he was rude and told me to talk to their legal department because as far as he was concerned they earned their fees despite their lousy service.

BUYERS BEWARE!

Liquidation.com could care less for their buyers!

I bid on and won an auction for “100 pair of Old Navy and Banana Republic Women's jeans “shelf pulls”. To follow is the description of “shelf pulls” from the Liquidation.com web site!

Shelf Pulls

Shelf Pulls were previously available for sale in a retail environment but were never sold. They usually possess one or more price tags and/or stickers, indicating multiple markdowns and have been exposed to appreciable customer contact. In addition, since most of these items are sent through a reverse supply chain (e.g., from a retailer back to a centralized warehouse), they can show signs of further handling. Accordingly, Shelf Pulls can exhibit a wide range of individual product and package conditions that can differ substantially from the original manufacturing.

What I received was a bunch of junk and nothing more! Most of the jeans had the brand tags and size tags removed with a razor knife!! The remainder of the jeans were customer returns and soiled shelf products! Unbelievable! I can't find in the description of “shelf pulls” anywhere saying the brand and size tags will be removed by a razor knife!

I gave Liquadation.com every chance to resolve this, I sent them the pictures and all the information they requested! By the way they will ask you for information and then after receiving your answer alter their rules according to your answer!

Their final non-disputable answer to the $950.00 worth of junk I received was to credit my paypal account with $43.00? What? If I was wrong why credit me anything?

They said READ THE DESCRIPTION! Well I did and don't see this junk in it!!

Please see attached pictures of what I am talking about!
They should have refunded the money and never paid the seller, because they wait to pay the seller until after all disputes are resolved!

Just stay away, trust me!

I purchased approx. $2,800 in remanufactured ink from the company. The company described these products as follows:

"Refurbished assets are used but have been inspected, tested, and restored to full working condition."

Upon receiving the products, I found that almost none of them work. Out of the 20 tested, I think 18 or 19 were non-functional.

The company refuses to return the products. I sent three letters via postal mail and none were ever replied to after several weeks.

This company has ripped me off, and I do not recommend you deal with them at all costs. You may be ripped off too.

I bid on 50 apple computers in working condition won the auction paid the auction then was reversed my payment and told the seller 2 hours later reported he did not have the items. I believe he did have them because he put them right back up for auction and sold them at a much higher price than I won them for. The worse part was I had 25 of them sold that covered my entire original purchase price of all 50. I still bid on items but dont think I can really get a good deal because if seller doesnt like winng bid they can lie and say they no longer have the items then re-auction them off until they get a price they like.
PS auctionsleuth works to snipe on ebay yahoo and overstock you can get a free trial for 15 days
