I am looking into opening a retail toy/candy store in my town. I'm just not sure where to get the merchandise from. I have found a few distributor sites for the toys but they either have out dated toys (like toys from the space jam movie...come on now!) or prices that are so high that not even a retail store could make any money. Any info on where I could buy pallets of new childrens toys of all sorts and maybe info on a candy manufacturer out there would be great. Thank you.

have a look at sourceing the big company brands for liquidated stock, or overuns. Might be a good thing, at least you know you will get quality, which i think is far better than quanity of poor quality. just my opinion. Try also small candy outlets in your area aswell as toys. Good luck
