i just wanted to post that i have had no success at all
i have found a few very average sites that are still non profitable
and have also found some sites that sell higher than retail... real great supplier they are
I need some real information and contact to good profitable supplier
i dont need advice on how i should keep searching as that method is not helpful and very stressful
i herd great reviews about salehoo but im not so sure

I havent made money directly with salehoo but the Forums are well worth 40 bucks. Its a great place to get questions asked

Absolutely! I totally agree with TripleG. The forums are an amazing resource for new & seasoned sellers. Some of the tips & tricks have proven to be invaluable.

now one will get rich over night unless you won the lottery.this type of business is very difficult to get into so you have to be patient.

i have found people on salehoo to be very guarded about keeping the names of their suppliers a secret

i understand that on some level we are all competitors, however i think salehoo would be a super fantastic resource if every member shared the details of JUST ONE of their suppliers
& share a little bit about what has & hasn't worked for them.

Me personally. so far i have only sold bits & pieces from around my house on ebay.

The most unsuccessful items i sold on ebay were my uni text books, they were law textbooks which i had paid $120 for each, yet they sold for only $1 - $2 each.

My most successful sale was two 1970s chandeliers. I purchased them for $50 each at a garage sale & sold them for $120 & $180 each respectively on ebay.

I would like to start a part time business, but i am yet to decide/source a product which i feel comfortable will be profitable.

I would not expect anyone to share their suppliers with each other. This kind of idea is absurd at most to expect of fellow members. These are people that studied and searched hard to find suppliers that can help them make an income on eBay. When you state your supplier on a forums with over 40,000 members and lets just say you have a great supplier that supplies that certain product that makes you great money. Its only a matter of days before that certain product is flooded to death on eBay by your fellow salehoo members. Then that items selling price drops like a bomb to unprofitable prices. Putting that seller that shared his source literally out of commission. I have seen this several times with my own products that I was making great money on before salehoo members found out my primary username and started flooding ebay with 5 niche products I was making over $2,000 a month on. After 1 week of that username being avaliable all 5 of those niche products were dead and unprofitable because those salehoo members saw I was selling those items way above retail and generating severe profits on them. 1 seller in particular was selling 3 of the exact same items I was selling and they were in totally different categories so I know they got the info from watching my auctions. This forced me to open 2 other ebay accounts to sell new niche items on.

Salehoo is a place that pools thousands of suppliers in every category together. This alone is worth the money because several thousand hours have been put in on creating this massive database of suppliers. It saves you time in having to google search these suppliers yourself which can be an endless situation for 1 person alone.

The large member pool also helps by sharing thier experiences with these suppliers to let you know if the supplier is legit and a reliable supplier.

The forums are a place where members can share tips and information to help new members and senior members with advice and help on common problems that many members have already had or have experiences with.

But if you expect members to share their sources your, Its doubtfull you will have any volunteers.

Imagine how stressful it would be if a niche product or source you relied on for income was immediately available to 40,000 other members.

If your not willing to do the work and find your own curve in business then you don't belong.

Im very new to both salehoo.com & also to ebay..i have only used one supplier so far..& in truth..it was the easiest process i have had with any item i have tried to source..& it was an international order!
the profit i made payed for my salehoo join up cost & i consider it money very well spent.

Being in australia,its a bit harder for me to get a lot of the items i would like to sell from the U.S & other places at a good price,,but it's like jimmy says...lots of effort..have some faith,,show a bit of trust & accept criticism as well as advice.

Ebay i have found is ruthless when it comes to undercutting,,some traders shoot themselves & everyone else with the low pricing & market flooding..as the fees from ebay/paypal are so high..its a stupid practice & the only people that seem to profit are ebay,paypal & the postal people.

Coca cola doesnt share its recipe..& look at them!..its a worldwide brand,,if you could make it at home..they wouldn't exist would they?

I work full time nightshift at GM Holden as well as run a Stonemasonary business with my brother..as we are both tradesmen..& yet i'm doing the extra to build up some good suppliers both here in AU & anywhere that will do business with me..the best part is the friendships i am making as well as the invaluable advice these good ppl here offer..

I wouldn't expect anyone to hook me onto thier suppliers,,but if they would tell me what NOT to do,& how to avoid sales pitfalls..i guess thats as good as knowing the good suppliers,,at least u know then how to avoid the bad ones.

Patience & respect i have found go a long way..& pay promptly..then & only then are you taken seriously..

dont forget us here in Oz if you want to trade!!..just try to offer the best postage costs,,because that is what hurts us the most..see you guys in the market & if we stick together more than against each other by selling items at the fair price,,not the ridiculous..we will all benefit i believe!

I think you just wrote what you should do.
I once found a cricket bat at a salv. shop for 5$ and sold it for 25$.
There are lots of ways to make money. You just have to search it out your self.
