Yes contact them.Many Companies do not list any dropshipping related information.But Many companies would love to have someone else selling their items as well.

Yes your definately going to have to get some traffic to your site.Maybe you can try filling it with items you have or items from a drop shipper? Maybe even buy liquidations and list using several usernames.

Just to note not all legitimate companies require you to use
a tax ID.But for the most.There is about a 1% chance you
will find the real supplier over all the middlemen.
