i had bad experience also with paypal,
they are the worst payment processor company,
i was in US than came back to my country, they limit the
paypal due to IP,,than they request me to sent bank statment
and some other stupidd documents, all requestes has been
completed still my account is LIMITED!.

Did you try to have the items sent to a different shipping
address than what you have listed as your PayPal address?That has the potential to raise the alarm at the suppliers
end.i had same problem , can be u have use different
shipping address.
