Hello,

I'm new on this, and create this thread in order to know the difference between Sale Price and Buy It Now Price.

What means each?

Thanks a lot for the support

Hi Luis,
If you're talking about Ebay, auction listings sometimes have an option to "Buy It Now"...meaning that the buyer will not bid at auction, but pay the stated price. Many sellers sell only with a fixed price and don't even list at auction at all. When I started as a seller I played with auctions but it became clear to me that consistent and repeatable sales were the only way to make a living at this. I focused on products that would sell in volume. I was fortunate to own my inventory, but for those who don't have their own inventory, drop shipping is the way to go. Your margin will be slimmer - because you don't own the inventory - but if you do enough volume, you'll get to full time income.

I hope that this help. Let me know if you have more questions - and please check out my company!

Thanks Ruth, the only question that is not clear is average sale price in research market lab, that's the price I should sell it or that's the price I should afford for that item

Research market lab and tools like it give you a good starting place. They are telling you what price customers are paying. Don't just take that number as absolute though. Once you identify a product that you think will work for you, start looking at actual listings and gauge the daily results for yourself. When I am looking at a product, I look at the real live listings to see the top sellers with the search words that bring up the product. I see how many they sell a day and at what price. For example, a listing can be "trending" at 27.00 but it can sell as low as 19.00 and 54.00 depending on the listings. If you base your number on the 27, you won't be able to complete with the listings at the low end.

I hope that this helps!
