Hey guys,
I found a wholesale website specially for Australians.
It's Link hidden: Login to view. Is that site better than Link hidden: Login to viewor are they almost the same?

Are they reliable in terms of quality and etc?

There seem to be more visitors on dealsdirect.com.au than oo.com.au (based on whois.sc) but why isn't it listed in the suppliers list? It may be a potential wholesaler for salehoo members. Cheers!

Deals Direct are very reliable, unfortunately they're no good if you want to sell on ebay because they also trade there themselves under a different name, used to be Australian Auctions, or something like that.

They do import a lot of new liquidated stock and distribute to the general public through their wholesale arm, Deals Direct, and then cut your throat if you try to compete online.

OO, again genuine, and while I have heard some say that they have prices that you can make money from on ebay, I have personally never any.

Of course I am only talking about selling on ebay, and other such online auction sites, but if they are your target market then wholesalers aren't the answer.

You will need to move into bulk, either new or liquidated stock. The best was of turning a profit on small buys is to stick with Secondhand in my opinion, much bigger mark up if you buy smart, and you can develop a regular customer base by offering a diverse range of items.

I would like to find a supplier that dont sell on ebay or oztion. I feel like I am hitting my head against a brick wall. I also sell through oo.com and I have not had any bids even though my auction start price is wholesale. I think its unfair that they are listed in the supplier list.
See you.

You have to remember that suppliers are listed here for different markets. Not everyone wants to compete on ebay, and for someone with a weekend market, or offline store, these types of suppliers are helpful.

If you want to sell in an online market such as ebay, wholesale products won't cut it. You have to either buy in serious bulk from a manufacturer, or source liquidated products.

If you wanted to do the leg work, you could also do well with Secondhand items sourced through garage sales, weekend markets. thrift stores and auction house sales.

If you buy right you can make much bigger margin on Secondhand, and create return customers by offering a diverse range of products.

If you just want to buy the odd item and sell it on eBay to make a few extra dollars, you can often pick up a really good item cheaply on Link hidden: Login to view The put up just one item every day at noon and it runs until noon the following day unless sold out beforehand. I've snared three really good bargains in the past four weeks. Mostly for home use but if you wanted to start pretty small you could do worse than try this. Wow I just had a look at today's catch - nice wine at a good price. Not all items they sell are good for profit making but they have some beauties at times.

Difficult I can do right away. Impossible takes a little longer
