Hi Harald and welcome to the forum

I can't really tell you what to sell, that's really up to you to decide as to what you want to sell. In regards to who provides the products, that is the suppliers. You can purchase wholesale (in volume) dropship or through surplus suppliers all listed in our directory. In regards to copy writing and images for listings, the copy writing is up to yourself, the suppliers you are dealing with will be able to provide you with product images for the listings.

Cheers

Hi Harald,

If you struggle to look for your niche, you can always start finding stuff from around your home. After some practice with goods from around the home, I recommend buying small wholesale lots of products that most people use on a daily basis.

What also matters is what you like to do - your hobbies and interest also would play a role in how you can continue this venture.

Here are a few ideas to start with, as well:
* Clothing: accessories, plus sizes, maternity, night wear.
* Kitchen: recipes, knife sets, toasters, microwaves
* Beauty: sunscreen, insect repellent, cosmetic & toiletry bags, men's grooming
* Homewares: towels, sheets, rugs, throws, cushions, vases, mirrors
* Special occasion: wedding supplies, party supplies, mother-of-the bride outfits, bridal shoes, birthday cards
* Garden : lawn mowers, gardening tool sets, composter

Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any questions.

Im new salehoo member, Im looking for ideas of products to sell online. I recently opened my own website and Im still looking for products to sell. Im looking to sell legitimate brands (cellphones, watches, shoes, clothes) . Im considering to go to Los Angeles and look for a trusted wholesale distributor of 100% original brands ( samsung, adidas, diesel, underarmour, guess). Does someone here could recomend one that you have already used???

Thanks guys. I've been looking into the directory, but I haven't found any new original brands distributor yet. I already registered in three warehouses; Novatech, Wpuonline e fashion, and in liquidation.com. In the first two, I think that the prices are too high to resale their products. In liquidation, I can bit and occasionally find good products, but not new products and most of them are refurbished, used or have been returned. Actually, I won two auction of electronics refurbished devices from sony ( Music Systems and TV LED) I compared the prices on Ebay and Amazon an I think I got them in good prices.

Do you think electronics refurbished devices are good products to resale? Any other recommended wholesale?

I appreciate your comments and thanks for your help.

Hi Ricardo

Used electronics in working order are the only catagory I have 100% sales in. I have sold everything I have ever posted.

Have you considered Link hidden: Login to view or Link hidden: Login to view. They are both in our directory.

I'm with Dale, very hot market if the prices are right and a couple of good suppliers suggested by Dale there as well.

Just bare in mind these are surplus suppliers so make sure you fully understand the stock you are buying.

Mr. Dale, could you please give me an idea of what kind of electronics are good for selling? You seem to have good expercience selling these kind of products.

Thanks again for your help.

Hello Madeleine,

The first thing we always need to do is to secure a niche.
You may want to start closer to home. Usually, the best niches are usually found lying around the home.
The practical things that people take for granted but can actually give you enough profit to make it in the business.

Another thing that you can also do is to focus on what you like as a person. What are you most interested in, or what are your hobbies or past time.

These ideas should work. Let me know if you need further help because we can filter the vast world of ideas out there.

Talk to you soon!

Hi, Harald.

I have been reading blogs on starting my business online and Allen Moon's post from entrepreneur.com simplified it pretty much sums up the basics:

1. Find a need and fill it.
2. Write copy that sells.
3. Design and build an easy-to-use website.
4. Use search engines to drive traffic to your site.
5. Establish an expert reputation for yourself.
6. Follow up with your customers and subscribers with e-mail.
7. Increase your income through back-end sales and upselling.
