What MOQ, FCL, and FOB means

can you explain me this : MOQ is 20' FCL
it come from a wholesaler : moq means "minimum order quantity" but FCL??
Are the prices always FOB price when we are talking to a wholesaler ?

Hi Guillaume,

MOQ is indeed Minimum Order Quantity and FCL simply means Full Container Load. So the Minimum Order Quantity will take up all the space in a 20 Foot container is what the supplier is saying.

In regards to (FOB) Free On Board, it's most definitely usually the case that it is the same with all wholesalers or manufacturers. However, you can certainly discuss this with the supplier and see if they have any transport companies they specifically use and if they could arrange for the port delivery for you and charge you accordingly, along with your order.
