How is everyone making out with getting refunds from Jimmy and PPWDG? I personally have been unable to get a refund and unable to get any kind of response from him and his company. Anyone having any better luck?

Hi jmcollins,

Have you tried sending an email to his personal email address? If you haven't, please give it a try. Here it is: Link hidden: Login to view

We do hope that things will work out for you, especially regarding the refund he owes you.

Cheers! :)

Yes I have sent a couple of emails to that address and received no response. It would be great to get my refund that I am owed but I'm not all that hopeful.

Hello everyone. New customers and regular customers.

I am making a formal announcement that I am terminating all Current Services for Link hidden: Login to view
All samples and single pallet orders will be terminated as of today.
I will be redesigning this site completely over the next few weeks and shutting the doors on many of my best programs.
Now for my regulars and new potential customers 'I am not shutting the doors on you'. I am simply restructuring my entire process.
We have endured too long with small buyers expecting great riches on small orders or not paying any attention to our shipping policy of pre-Orders only.

Because of this I am transforming this into a more commercial Liquidation Business. Only Serious Buyers need order.

From now on
*All buyers will be quoted Prices on Pallets and truckloads. No more Value Pallets. Or value truckloads.
*All truckload sales will be custom built to the amount you budget for.
*We only sell pallets and truckloads. (no more samples)
*Pallets and truckloads will be shipped VIA freight carrier. No more fedex home deliveries.
*If you are shipping to you home then Lift gate delivery will be required.
*All buyers will be required to sign the defacing agreement and fax/email this agreement to me.
*Payments will be wire transfer only. (No more credit card Offers)

We will have small deals that you can purchase on the site. But besides this there will be no more small orders.

I do apologize to some of our small buyers but this is a change that must be made or I will just shut down this site completely. This site itself has not produced any revenue since it opened and has been supported by my truckload sales, ebay, amazon and local sales here in Decatur. None of my small order programs have generated enough revenue for me to waste countless hours on. Its hurting other things I do that actually do make a profit. We've priced our lines well below profitable margins to generate sales and none of it has been profitable aside from truckload sales we have had from this site. And all I have had is guff and problems with the site itself. Although I have had thousands of customers the very few that have a bad experience just want to compound their problems on others. I would rather be low volume and make my buyers money then be high volume and deal with people that do not understand this business.

We will be working on shipments over the next few weeks. We just had a huge truck delivered and will be working on getting those orders shipped out and any back orders we have will ship as well.

We hope these changes will not only help our company but increase the sales and revenue of our current client base.

WOW, didn't see that coming. I personally didn't think that there where would be anyway froward with PPWDG after this mess, and a couple before it, but there you go, the doors are still open.

Well guys, I guess that means that his forum looks like a place to start asking questions again, and ask them quick because I would suspect that the restructuring would actually see the forum close!

I just want to let everyone know that after filing for a refund with my credit card company they:

1. Placed my funds in an escrow account and notified me that it would take about a week to investigate.
2. Four (4) days later they credited my account in full.

Mine was the oldest un-filled pallet order on record (dated Jan 19).
I hope this encourages everyone to follow up as instructed by Jimmy through the help of the SaleHoo Staff because, although inconvenient, I got my money back and now can move forward with my plans (with a 5 month delay).

Glad to hear it worked out for you. Makes me wish I would have used a credit card instead of a debit card. The bank won't help me since its a debit card.

There has to be something about claiming on a debit card, this is crazy.

Anyone with any ideas, post them so we can get some direction on this.

Don, your ebay idea is an interesting one. I'm of the belief that jimmy's weak spot is his productsplus ebay account. He is only showing his arrogance and sheer contempt to those he has taken for a ride because he feels secure in knowing that his golden goose is locked away safely in the barn.

I've been trying to come up with a way to impact on that account, In think if even a threat to that account was perceived by jimmy, it would bring him out into the open to try and cover the potential damage he would suffer should he loose that account.

Ebay is the weak spot, but we need to find an effective way of dealing with ebay, or even enough to make jimmy believe that the threat is genuine.

Hey Marc,

Yes it really makes me wonder how many ebay accounts Jimmy has because that all seems very shady and yes that would make sense that he wasn't trying to hide that account for all his good reasons behind it. Hmm I don't know if anyone here has legal knowledge but my sister is a corporate lawyer. Maybe I will try and get some information from her and share it here if its legal of course.

If you could get some feedback from your sister don, that would fantastic, especially if she had any ideas on getting refunded on debit card purchases.

I know it's not her field, but you can assure from me, that any info she can provide on these topics is not just appreciated by you, but but our entire membership and staff!

Anyone else with access to legal information, see what you can do to help out these guys They are not rich and can afford to be taken like this, and as a community I would love to see us pull together and find some solutions for them.

Too many people get taken like this every day in this industry, and if our membership can contribute to a solution this time round, then we can all be proud of our effort!

Hey Guy's,
I got some great news !!! I got my refund for $875.00 !!! I paid for my invisible pallet with a Walmart Money Card. I disputed the charges 'in writing' and then got my refund within 5 business days after they received it. The Walmart Money Card is a Visa Debit Card. If anyone needs help researching ways to get your refund back, feel free to PM me with your Debit Card companies names and I will try to help !!!

Thanks, Dave

That's great news dave, actually I've just messaged a member to contact you as he used a debit card to purchase, but has so far had no luck with a charge back, and of course will die of old age before jimmy goes out of his way to help.

Hope you can get him through this one, and any other debit card purchasers.

Cheers

My guess is the amount owed makes this a tough one. You can put some pressure on Jimmy by doing the following.

Get all of the documents regarding the transaction together.

Go to Illinois's Attorney General page and download their complaint form. Fill it out and mail with all documents, back to them. Follow up.

Go to BBB and do the same.

Then take the reports and mail to the police dept. in the city in which he resides. See if you can write a police report.

Then post to rip-off report, scam.com so others don't get scammed.

Then file a complaint with eBay. If there are other problems with him, this may put him over the top. I once got a seller perm. banned because of an issue I had with him outside of eBay but I knew some things and this got him closed down.

There are some other more nefarious tactics. I won't post here but if you want to know them you can PM me. I save these tricks for this type of sit.

None of the above may get your money back. But they will put some heat under Jimmy's seat. I have personally put Jimmy in the category of scammer/criminal. No one, under almost any circumstance, conducts business like this or accepts money as large as yours, and then fails to deliver or return the funds. If this is truly the case, as you say, then he is a criminal and should be treated as such.

The only problem I have is why did you take so long to take action? Was Jimmy dragging you along?

It's actually kind of interesting how the last update we had was a family member was sick in the hospital but he's been absent from any communication for what? 2 months now? that sounds like there is much more to the 1 sided story. I seriously think instead of posting what updates you folks have on jimmy and your refunds is to immediately start taking other actions. After all folks this is just an advice forum and the salehoo staff can only do so much and take on this mess that Jimmy caused. Let's take some serious action now folks before this economy gets worse than jimmy won't even be able to make any money to give back to you guys if he were to get suede.

I just received confirmation that the Illinois Attorney general is pressing charges against Jimmy Huber and PPwdg. Just thought I would let you know. I don't know if the investors could risk any such criminal charges, but I do know that if a state dept goes after a company it usually goes after the entire company and not just the front man.

Believe me I understand 100% that the investors had nothing to do with this but I would bet my dog outside that Jimmy will try to weasel his way out of this by claiming it was a company and he was just the 'frontman' placing the blame onto the investors. If I was in your shoes I would look over everything you signed if their was any paperwork that gave or entitled you to some type of ownership.

Lets wait and see.

Nothing can be tied to any investor, in fact it was the lack of paper work that has prevented any of the original investors from taking jimmy to court in the first place.

This one is on PPWDG only!

It had to happen, someone had to file charges sooner or later....you just can't go around screwing people like that without someone coming after you!

well if the investors have no worries, then thats great news. this should lead to everyone that couldn't do a chargeback, getting there money back. right? though im sure it'll be tied up in the courts for some time. might be time for those people to get in contact w/ the illinois attorney general.

Flood the Attorney General with the fraud applications. It is the only thing we can do to get a refund from ppwdg. Fill out and mail the form. The form is available on line at: Link hidden: Login to view.

Someone should write this up and send along with a complaint to eBay. Jimmy shouldn't be able to profit on eBay.

Example of what could be said:
You might want to state you found out about his website from his listings and that you went to his website and made purchases and were never delivered product and you have recently found that he is under indictment etc... .

If anyone was denied a reversal of charges from their CC, now would be a good time to re-request it and or to file an unauthorized charge claim against Jimmy as you may have a stance being he is in criminal trouble.

1st welcome to salehoo, no salehoo is not a fraud or scam. your joining at an akward time however, jimmy was the community manager at salehoo and also had his own liquidation business seperate from salehoo. jimmy had a very good reputation here and a lot of people trusted him w/ there money. its a long story but either his business went under or he just felt like running w/ everyones money. you can search threw the forums and find how the whole thing went down. aside from the whole 'jimmy situation' you can find a lot of help around here for whatever your looking for, hope the jimmy situation doesnt deter you from salehoo, i have been here for a couple months and the knowledge i've gained has been priceless

As Raiderjake clarified, the current situation is not related to SaleHoo in any way, shape, or form other than Jimmy had served the community here as the forum manager and had quite a lot of respect from members who placed a lot of trust in him by dealing with his own independent company.

Unfortunately, recent events have seen jimmy not doing the right thing for his customers, for whatever reason, and of course that has effected a lot of our members here.

Legal action now seems to be pending against jimmy and the saga looks like entering a completely new phase, but the fact that we have an open forum where we all all permitted to talk about such events is an indication that your membership dollars have been spent on a very honest platform.

If you do have any concerns you can PM me for clarification.

For any other new members a little confused by the current situation, it's a little complicated to keep going over what has happened, as I'm sure you understand we get new members asking the same questions virtually every day.

If you are curious as to the back ground and what has happened with jimmy, searching the forum will find all the information you need. Just use the keywords Jimmy and PPWDG.

Cheers

To the original poster here jg42122 . What information was sent to the Illinois Attorney General about this matter? Did you yourself file a complaint?

No I was contacted by a couple about 3 mos ago from a different forum that he had stole a couple 1000 from, and I had communicated with them a few times . I had not heard anything back from them for about a month, and they contacted me the other day to let me know they had gone through with pressing charges, that the State of Illinois was going after Jimmy, and to tell everyone if they wished to file a complaint that was who they should be talking with.

You know this thing goes so much further than Salehoo he stole large sums of money from who knows how many people online, it is a real shame.

If you want to get your money back the Illinois atty generals office can and will get it back for you. You need to contact them . it may take a while but you will get it back.

Once again, I don't think Jimmy set out to steal anybody's money or to defraud anybody. It's all gone down the chute because of his incompetent business management and failure to admit he was incapable of running a business rather than any deliberate intention to take the money and run. He treated his backers and customers in an appalling and disrespectful manner. His wife is blameless and nobody should mention or lay any blame on her for this. If she is ill, she's probably stressed out beyond belief!

With all due respect. There comes a time when bad business practices reaches criminal behavior.

If I take your money with the promise of delivery and fail due to a bad decision well then maybe that is not criminal.

But if I do it continuously and keep taking money and don't deliver then it becomes criminal by default.

A judge would say well why did you keep excepting money if you knew you had a bad history of completion.

At some point it becomes criminal intent.

I agree with Planes he still has not refunded half the people he owes to nor made an attempt to .

That is theft if he would have even attempted to call these people or work with them that would be one thing, but some of these people have waited almost a year and still no word from him.

I mean do you think he is really going to pay these people back or send them their orders ? If not he stole their money.

I am sure as well the original investors would think differently about his original intent .

I certainly do think he should be held accountable. I'm only pointing out that he did not originally intend to take people's money. However, I agree that he should not have kept on with accepting orders when he knew full well he could not or would not send customers the orders they paid for. There must still be a lot of money somewhere in that business. Nobody could just fritter away over fifty thousand dollars with abandon without thinking people would be expecting what they were promised.

Don't know if that includes the Aussies who are owed 21k. You could then add another 30k for the investors. I would guess there is maybe 50 people owed between $500-$1000, I think 150k is probably a good guess.

He only needs to keep this up for another 12 months to of pocketed a nice amount in interest.

I tried buying some products back in March. I've emailed numerous times, and now seeing this information really irritates me. How can I can my money back?

Limited opportunities at this time it would seem, charge-back if possible or hit the link in this thread and get your name on the list for legal action.

From everything I'm hearing he has shut it all down and isn't making himself very visible at all!

I just have to say that this is truly depressing. I tried to order the sample pack back in March, kept emailing trying to find out what was taking so long, no replies. I found his website through the forum when I first join and it seems to me that everyone might want to start doing their own research on any company they might want to try through Salehoo. I hope those who spent a lot more than I did can get their money back. I wanted to go bigger, but decided to try the sample pack before buying heavy loads. Apparently PPWDG was a bad investment on many of our parts. Good luck all.

Might be due to legal advice.

Anything's possible, though from what I already knew, and from have learned over the last few weeks, I just think jimmy is doing what jimmy does best.....hiding and doing his best to ignore it!

I don't know about you guys but it is clear that Jimmy is hiding somewhat! If I were to lose that much money and not receive the merchandise I paid for, I will be at Jimmy's house in a heartbeat!

Have you guys ever seen 'The eBay Effect'? These three friends bought an item that cost over $1K I think and the item was not delivered, so these three people paid a surprise visit to the seller and the seller played like he don't know anything about that transaction. Within a week, they filed a case against the seller and got their money back. That's only for over 1K, we're talking about over $100K here you guys so I suggest you guy pay him a surprise visit at his house then file a case against him.

That blog entry dated April 21, 2009!

OMG!!!

That story was told to me in a PM I got from jimmy about 1 year ago, yes, one year ago!

It is virtually word for word, with the only difference being that the charge-backs had been issued against them.

UNREAL, the same brand, the exact same problem, the same return issues.......this is some kind of a 'form letter'

They must trot this old thing out when they are looking for some sympathy or something.

HAHAHAHA, honestly, just when I think nothing more could surprise me about this whole mess, it does!!

I honestly can't believe all this.

I remember trying my hardest not to get conned since I have been before by rather shady companies. I tried so hard to work with him and he would just go back and forth with me. I hope everybody gets their money back.

I think it'd be helpful to post jimmy's information so everybody's complaints are on the same page.

I hope Jimmy and Stephanie do have to shut down all of their business ventures and that they both get what's coming to them for stealing from everyone. They are liars and thieves plan and simple. They belong in jail.

Here is a quote from the last email Jimmy sent to his investor group:

The email was a few pages long and contained many expletives.

'But if we have members on the forums posting useless bullshit that does not help this company or the group all this work might as well go right out the f**king window.

I will post another update as soon as I can. That is If we are still in business. That is still undecided !! Right now in the mood I am in right now Im about to say f*ck it and go offline forever.'

I inserted the asterisks.

Looks like he has followed through with his threat.

Considering the amount you invested with Jimmy, I don't see why nobody is actually paying him a visit and taking him to court right away. I mean, If I were to loose that money without having a merchandise shipped to my door, I will be at Jimmy's pad in a heartbeat! I will invest in a plane ticket and fly to Jimmy's pad then, hire an attorney to prosecute Jimmy. It might cost a little extra and some work but considering how many people really lost money, I don't see any problem with the cost of hiring an attorney. It will be worth it seeing Jimmy put to jail or at least get your money back. I just hate people when they take advantage of others who are working hard for their money. All those members who lost money should meet in one place and should act together that's just my take on this.

I'm hearing numbers of up to 12 that have currently filled action, will be good if we can start confirming some of those numbers. I've also put the wheels in motion to try and close his ebay accounts down, will post results with that as I get them.

Jimmy is just a big fat sook! He couldn't handle life and went offline for a cry!

Hope he goes to jail and hope he lose all his kids, if he really has any. Probably posted other people's daughters onto his myspace page and made up his wife too.

Leave his kids out of all this. They are adorable little girls - innocent and blameless.

I'm kind of confused.

Should I file with the attorney general? I paid for merchandise that I received but I've been hearing about people paying and not getting their merchandise.

I don't believe we're in the same boat. Advice?

I know you're upset with all of this considering the amount you have lost investing with Jimmy but common, lose all his kids???? The kids doesn't have to do with anything what Jimmy has done. They are innocent little kids that did NO harm so why put them in the story???

I think it's understandable that people are frustrated and will most likely write from that frustration, I would hate to see members here turning on one another when jimmy is the one that has caused the frustartion.

Of course no one wants to visit such issues on his children, but wouldn't it have been nice if he had of considered other people's famalies before doing this to so many!

In fact, wouldn't it have been nice if he had of considered what the end result of all this would be for his own family, and his ability to provide for them long term...............

I can't see how there will be any winners out of this situation when it is all played out!

If you did receive your order pro, you have no compliant to file. Only those who didn't receive what they paid for will be able to take legal action.

Once all this is sorted the guys who got ripped off should all meet up somewhere have a barbeque and a few beers get to know each other and put Jimmy behind them. Might be a fun day.

And what do we think he would say. I stole from people. Oh and MR DA please read this self confession to make for a speedy trial. If he were truly innocent of any wrong doing, he would still be here as community manager and any issues with PPWDG resolved to everyones satisfaction.

I think everyones intelligence has been insulted enough.

I totally agree with Planes, even if he had the opportunity to explain to all those that lost from him, Why would we ever believe a word he has to say. It's funny that he said that because its obvious Jimmy doesn't even know what honesty and trust means. Just another bunch of Jimmy smoke coming out.

Well I think if the AG if filing charges then he gets to speak and defend himself but so far no charges have been filed and still has his business so I have to give him a chance until found guilty.

Ebay seems to think he is ok and his business is making sales and none seem to have posted a valid case number bout Jimmy

I must admit that I'm shocked he actually spoke to someone when so many have struggled to get in contact with him recently, including SaleHoo staff themselves. Then again I'm assuming you were not one that didn't receive what you ordered and you weren't trying to get your money back, that might explain that issue.

Putting that aside, if he had nothing to hide and wanted to defend himself by explaining the situation, he had a pretty good platform to do that right here, the place where most of the members were effected. I mean it's not like we didn't have anyone interested in hearing what he had to say after all, yet for an innocent man he made the rather strange decision to not only ignore his duties as Community Manager, he chose to hide from those seeking the answers he claims to now have!

As for no charges being filed, I'm personally aware of several members that have filed with their GA departments, so that should only be a matter of time at this stage.

Ebay seems to think he is ok?

Perhaps you should rethink that statement altogether, ebay, nor the half dozen ebay members he has recently ripped off through his newly named swimwear and more account (the old productsplus1976) don't seem agree!

Like I said, you want to defend the guy, that's your choice. There was a time when he also had my respect, along with many others here, but that went up in smoke the moment he started ignoring customers, keeping their cash and never sending them a damn thing they paid for!

That's not how you run a legit business, no matter what personal drama is going on in your life. He left his treasured ebay account in good hands, making sure someone was taking care of that, but he didn't give damn about the members here, the ones that trusted him with their money!

The only point here that can hold water, is that he may not be actually taken to criminal court. A person can simply state that they went out of business due to unforeseen circumstances. Then it is up to the DA to find evidence of intent to defraud which may or may not be an easy thing to do.

It is quite obvious to all of us he is a dishonest person based on his handling of this situation and the thousands of dollars taken without delivery, but the state has to prove it. Thousands of businesses go out of business every year. The bulk of them leave accounts unsettled and many go bankrupt.

I am not an attorney but, it is up to the state to one, decide to pursue a case based on evidence and two, to pursue a case based on likelyhood of conviction.

My laymens advice, would be to persue Jimmy civilly. Some states allow for small claims to be done for out of state transactions based on certain circumstances. If the amount of the case is over the states allowed amount, consider using Legalzoom. For a fee they prepare the case for you and guide you through the process in Superior Court.

uh i think bevsey was being sarcastic. At least that is what I took from that post. but you are right about stephanie's myspace page. and she may have been sick or something since on one thing she says she still isnt feeling well, but come on!! she is on the computer and could say something to us. but no they hide and start ripping off eBayers too. I think, by looking at his feedback, that he ripped one person off by 'selling' them something and not delivering and then turned around and sold it again and delivered it to another. But at least now his main eBay page is shut down.
