eBay/PayPal Split Finally a Reality

Is anybody else excited about the prospect of eBay and PayPal Link hidden: Login to view? I think it will finally open up the reins a little on competing payment systems to PayPal; Square's service $Cashtag seems to have the most potential because it is so easy and cheap to implement.

This could also have a benefit in the other direction, ie. major sites such as Amazon which do not accept PayPal due to its tethering to eBay might start accepting PayPal now, opening up huge possibilities for PayPal merchants who are happy where they are.

Really a great piece of news, in my opinion.
