What about collectors? Is there a market for collectibles?

I was just wondering if anyone out there knows what would be good to sell?? I'm currently looking at products that people might collect like die cast cars, collector cards, would anyone know if there is a market out there for these type of items??

I sold for a collectibles shop on a commission basis for about a year, part time. I had some very good weeks. The biggest problem I had was not having enough stuff to sell.

Stuff I remember selling was.

Lot of lego like toys 85.00

Woody Guthrie record set 150
Elvis 2nd release of a song 45 50
Lot of 45s 250
Original plastic army men 35
Ted Williams signed baseball 'not validated' 195
Leather RIding gear 175
etc..

The company I worked for got their stuff from cleaning out houses.
