That link from Irene is a great place to start, there you will find actual surplus suppliers themselves. Liquidation.com is essentially a marketplace for people to sell bulk lots, not saying that you can't get some good deals there because you most definitely can!

Because of the auction format, you just have to take a lot of care and as with most things, research on the suppliers you are interested in buying from through the site is absolutely vital.

Genuine liquidation suppliers may hold some auctions on certain days, but they will always provide you with a set price on their stock so you know exactly how much you are going to pay, From there, you need to make sure you know exactly what you are buying when it comes to dealing in surplus stock because there are plenty of pitfalls that new sellers can fall into.

To learn more about liquidation.com, just search the name on our forum here, there is a stack of information written about them, some good, some bad, but all important to know if you are going to deal through them.
