Who can qualify to join?

Almost anyone! We allow anyone that is interested in promoting SaleHoo to join so long as you do not violate any of our terms and conditions. SaleHoo may reject any affiliate, at anytime if we determine, at our sole discretion, that a site is unsuitable to be associated with us. Unsuitable sites include those that use/contain:

Promote sexually explicit materials
Promote violence
Promote illegal activities or gambling
Promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age
Extensive religious commentary or attempts to preach or solicit members for a particular church or faith
Otherwise violate intellectual property rights
We are unable to access and review your site based on the URL provided
Unsolicited commercial email (Spam) or trademark infringement

What if I have more than one website?

It's easy to add SaleHoo links to all of your websites and you are more than welcome to add them to any websites or blogs that you run or own. You will receive one commission check for all your sites that have generated sales in the given period.

What methods can I use to promote SaleHoo?

You can use any methods you wish to promote SaleHoo (in accordance with our T&Cs). See the rest of the affiliate area for ideas and also make sure you check out our video area for some new methods. Some ways that current affiliates use are:

Write a review of SaleHoo, letting people know about our service and what we offer. Include your affiliate link at the end of the review. Then you can post your review to free sites like GoArticles.com & EzineArticles.com
Create a free blog at sites such as Blogger.com, and then post your review of the SaleHoo, including your affiliate link. Then "ping" your blog at Pingomatic.com, and you will see it get picked up quickly by the major search engines.
Once every couple of weeks post a press release at PRweb.com and PRleap.com , in which you include a review of SaleHoo, along with your affiliate link. If you pay them $80, they will guarantee that your press release is picked up by all major search engines, potentially sending you thousands of visitors resulting in alot of sales for you.
If you own an email list of newsletter subscribers send them an email telling them about SaleHoo, and feel free to use our newsletter if you wish.

How will my referrals be tracked?

Salehoo uses Clickbank to provide affiliates with trusted 3rd party tracking, real-time reporting and bi-monthly commission payout's. A cookie is placed when on a users PC when users click on any of the SaleHoo banners or links provided by use that contain an affiliate link. User's will be tracked for a period of 60 days after this. You receive commissions if users click from your site and join SaleHoo within this time frame.

How can I keep track of my statistics?

Clickbank, an impartial third-party, tracks users sales, calculates your commissions and provides reports of your earnings, transactions and activity so you can see what worked and what didn't. Log in to your Clickbank account to monitor your success 24 hours a day from http://www.clickbank.com

How much do I get paid?

We pay a market leading 75% commission on all sales. Currently our membership sells for $67.00 meaning that you will get approximately $45.73 after clickbank take their processing fee.

When and how do I get paid

Pay periods end at 12:00:01am Pacific time on the 1st and 16th of each month. For security reasons payment is made by check only. Checks are mailed within 15 days after the end of the pay period. Checks over $5,000 are sent at our expense by US Priority Mail (US) or Global Priority Mail (Europe, Canada, Australia, etc) wherever possible. US checks over $10,000 are sent overnight via FedEx wherever possible.

How do I add a link to my website?

SaleHoo affiliates are provided with a variety of banners and text links. You decide how many links you want to have on your site, as well as where the links appear. Simply copy the html code from our graphics page and place this is the section of your webpage you which to display the image or text.

Where should I place the links on my site?

From our testing and experience the two best places to add links are at the very top, middle of your website and also on the left hand sidebar. If you place your links in an easily accessible position on your website, your visitors will be more likely to click on them and you are then more likely to get a commission.

Do I have to create links?

No! SaleHoo provides all its affiliates with a variety of finished banners, buttons and text links, all of which are proven to drive sign-up. New links and banners will be constantly updated. Click here for the latest banners

How often should I update my links?

You should try and update your links at least once a month to keep them fresh and changing. If you have alot of returning customers they may get used of your banners so if you are continually changing them with fresh new ones they are more likely to click on them.

Can I change the graphics provided?

No. SaleHoo has created graphics that represent our brand name, logo and trademarks in a consistent fashion. Publishers may not alter the look, feel or functionality of the banners, buttons or links provided.

Will I receive emails from SaleHoo?

Yes, our affiliate manager will send you emails (generally once a month) to keep you up to date with any changes or suggestions for out affiliate program. There will be an unsubscribe button at the bottom of each email so you can stop receiving them anytime you wish.

Can I terminate my affiliate membership?

Yes you can shutdown your affiliate account anytime. To do this you will need to contact Clickbank directly and then will be able to assist you.
