    What type of items sell best through kijiji?

    Hi Orleans_Trade,

    The US based Kijiji is eBay Classifieds link hidden, which is a separate eBay website that uses the classified ad format of buying and selling items locally. In Canada, this is still called Kijiji link hidden

    As classified ads, this is a good platform for sellers who offer large items that are expensive to ship, or those not willing to list low value items since listing fees can cut profits.

    However in Kijiji, there is not much protection for both the buyers and the sellers since there is actually no contractual agreement and no means to conduct the transaction through the said site.

    Sellers simply post classified ads and interested buyers contact them through e-mail published from the listing page. Transactions are all done off-site, without intervention at all by Kijiji.
