Hi everyone,i am new to salehoo and i am exploring alot and already know the basics of wholesale and dropshipping, I really need help on some suppliers on desktop pc,memory ram and etc, I could not find any sites that have a true wholesale price to sell on ebay on desktop pc,memory and etc. The only site i found that was good is link hidden. But even then this site already sells on ebay with an ebay id and the same wholesale price on thier site, what is the point of selling these wholesale prices if they are already selling them on ebay which is the same price on thier site, its like thaking a sea cucumber out of the ocean, any advice here if anyone knows a good place to find good true wholesale prices. Oh and is paypal new policy true when you dropship an item paypal will hold your funds for 21 days, please tell thats not true or if it is that just sucks!

Hi, I'm new here also but I can tell you if you are looking for a place to make any profit its not on the web because there are so many middle men that you have to buy from. Thats what makes the market of all of these products explode. If you are only looking to make money and you don't care what to sell send me a email and I will let you in on a little secret on how to bulk the folds of your wallet.

Have you checked out Evertek and DBL? They are fantastic suppliers for the items you mentioned. Yes it's true some wholesalers do sell on eBay as well. It just means you have to be more creative: whether that is creating a niche that allows you to charge a premium price, buying liquidation, or selling across a number of different auction sites.Grace

Hello Grace, what do you mean by niche thats allows you to sell in a premium price? She means finding items that do not have a strong presence online or on ebay. People are looking for everything. I was the first seller on ebay to sell slendertone replacement pads on ebay. We paid $4.99 for each pack but we sold them as high as $60.00 each for months until other sellers caught on to it.

A niche is something that you specialize in that will help you focus on delivering a better and more comfortable experience for your consumers. For example, you build computers and you like to overclock. If you focus on selling products that cool RAM, Chipsets (Northbridge, Southbridge) CPU coolers or other things that specialize in that sort of thing. By specializing you will have more knowledge and expertise in the subject so to speak. I hope this helps

I have been a member for over a month now and I just started selling online about 2 months ago and I have to admit, this site is by far the most informative. I read through everything from the tips to what the members had to say as well. You have to do your research, it is not something you can just sign up and you are selling right off.

Hi,Hi Terri. If you want a real supplier for beading and supplies, you need to go to; link hidden once you get on the site, request their catalog and they will mail you one that is about a half inch thick..They can and will supply everything you need from swarovski crystals, sterling silver, etc., any size and type of bead you might want and beading tools to work it with..
So far I have not been very successful sourcing products either. I have found the same to be true---that prices on ebay are lower than other 'wholesale' sites. This is better than Doba. I did a free trial there and their prices and fees etc...were ridiculous. I have found more on my own. I buy beads to make jewelry and looked at exporters in China and Bali and figure I ought to sell to them!!
If anyone knows of real sources for beads, silver, glass and gemstone please let me know.
Wholesalecentral.com and
TopTenWholesale.com look good, and its free to look.
Anyone have any comments about Worldwide brands??

540freeman,There is absolutely nothing wrong with online selling. Total online sales in the u.s. in 2004 totaled $65 billion, sales in 2008 for just the first quarter (4 months) were $19 billion, up 23 per cent from the first quarter last year.
Hi, My nameis Zoe and I' a new-new newbie. So what IS the secret? I thought with gas prices going up, on line would be able to hold its own. Waht is the problem with online?

why is dropshipping a bad idea for sales on Ebay? I keep thinking, surely Ebay has competition! If so, who is it? Amazon etc.Not entirely a bad idea, since drop shipping allows new sellers to list and have a try on selling even without capital. Drop shipping will also let you test a market without too much risk, since you can test or expand your product range without heavily investing in stock.
I'm really sick of paying so much to Ebay and paypal when I do sell an item on there! Any advice?
