    help getting started

    hi everyone im new on here, and want to start up a business on ebay. Im doing as much research as possible before i rush in and make too many mistakes.
    I have a few ideas of what i think will sell good in Australia, but im really having trouble finding any suppliers, i have even posted on here but no one can seem to help me.
    How can i find what i need, or get other ideas?

    Selling secondhand products is always a great way to get started on ebay, and easy to source from places like garage sales, weekend markets, thrift shops, those types of places.

    Of course the added advantages are that you don't need a huge bank role to get started.

    Hi Tracy,

    Fudjj is right! You can also try selling a few stuff from around your home. Nothing beats knowledge gained from experience and selling stuff from around the home is the best way to get it without any risk.

    After some practice with goods from around the home, we recommend buying small wholesale lots of products that most people use on a daily basis. Many of these products are excellent sellers, plus they are fairly easy to get hold of. A lot of new sellers make the mistake of trying to be all things to all people.

    Just keep it simple and small to begin with..Cheers :)

    i was thinking of getting 2nd hand grobags from ebay Uk and resellin them over in australia, do you know if this is legal or not?

    No laws about importing or reselling second hand items, apart from import duties and such, so long as it is a legal product of course.

    Once a product has been sold the first time there isn't any licensing requirement to be concerned with. It's quite simply your property to dispose of in any manner you choose, again, so long as it is legal :)

    thats great thanks for that. At least i have something to start me off with, and then the profit i make i can save until i can afford to buy other things in bulk.
