    Boxsets of TV Series from DHGate - are they fakes?

    Hi

    I have found this supplier on dhgate.com selling box sets of TV series at extremely low prices.

    I wanted to know if you think they could be fakes or a scam?

    I would not think that it's a scam.
    Are you aware that the shipping cost is not included in the price that you are seeing?

    Very recently I purchased some Lady and the Tramp at DHGate and were fake. Buyer guaranteed they were the real deal. They were not. They said they will give me my money mback but still haven't received it. They shipped it to me for free but I had to pay to ship the goods back. Licensed merchandise are very likely to be fake.
    Sorry, but you really need to do a lot of research. Buy a small lot so that you can check the merchandise before buying larger quantities.

    Hi mikeydizl, very likely they are fakes (if not overruns), as their ipods are definitely fakes. what's interesting is that customers seem to be unhappy with the ipods from this seller, but happy with the TV box sets.

    My question is, how can you tell fake DVDs(TV box sets, movies,etc..) from genuine? Other than print quality,etc, are there other specific ways to tell?Could someone please explain, and expound in detail if you like. thanks.

    I know this is long overdue but for the benefit of those who are still pondering on the question, 'how to identify fake DVDs aside from checking out it's quality', please download our DVD Market Guide by clicking on the 'Education' tab on top of the page.

    Please note that licensed merchandise (like DVDs) are the same as BRANDED goods and we don't recommend buying branded goods from China because there's a high risk of getting fakes.
