    item pulled on ebay

Hi I am pretty upset about an item being pulled from ebay. I ordered some software from overseas and it arrived fast and the feedback on the place where I ordered it was great. That is not the problem. I listed it on ebay and they pulled it stating that I guess it was about the infringement policy. The thing is that there are hundreds of others selling the same thing. I have written ebay as well as the adobe company and can't get a solid answer as to what i did wrong. I am very frustrated. I even sent the number on the software box and the listing number and everything they asked for and have not gotten a response. IN the meantime, I have 2 items that I can't sell because I don't know what I did wrong if anything. Please help if you can. The item is adobe photoshop CS3. It is the extended version. I see many on ebay for sale.

Good luck in getting a response from Ebay. Some one had to have reported you in order for Ebay to pull your ad. This could even be a competitor, especially in a saturated market. I got an ad pulled because I used a question mark at the end of a listing title. Why? Some a-hole from the forum was pissy over my auction find. I resold it later for $73 less than the original ad. Ebay, IMHO is on its way out.

    Re: item pulled on ebay

I found out today that the software I bought through dhgate from a ID user named 'girls' is counterfeit. That is why it was pulled off. I don't know how they know but the 'girls told me that she sells to ebayers all the time. But again, she also told mee that these were not copies. Now I am stuck with 3 copies or adobe software. It seems to work fine on my computer but what do I know !!!!!!!!
Anyway, I don't see how these people from China can get away with selling copies. Seems like something could be done. Oh, well, live and learn. Hard Lesson.

I think that most of these issues are mainly because of a competing seller. Your selling an item they are and they dont want you to ruin thier sale.

    Re: item pulled on ebay

I totally agree that it was probably a competitor. I recently had an item pulled and it was something I myself had purchased from ebay but never got around to using so was going to resell. I'm pretty sure it was one of two people who know my user id as there were plenty of items similar to mine that were still for sale.
    It's very, very frustrating.

    Re: item pulled on ebay

How unfair is that? So, does that mean that I could just go into ebay and pick out several things that I don't like and get them pulled off? I, of course, would never do that but it seems that it is just that easy and you know that really hurts people and defeats what they are trying to do and that is just make a little money. I don't know where some people get off. I could not sleep at night if I treated others like that!! Well, funny thing, I have discussed this with the software company, my credit card company, ebay and just out of the blue, my listing was back on ebay today and not only that but there were two listings in my name and both the same software. I don't know what is with that because I did not put them back on. I was afraid to. So, where did they come from? Originally, I only listed one item. I do have two of them but I only listed one. Now two are listed. It just seems like I am always having to be on the lookout for dishonest people. I really don't know what to think about this incident. Should I report to ebay that my items are listed again or did ebay list them?

    Re: item pulled on ebay

The item I had pulled was apparently something not to be sold on ebay... but I didn't know it at the time of purchase etc (used maternity swimwear). I paid $45 for it and never used it as I lost my pgcy, so I thought well I may as well resell it.

    But apparently not....

    Good luck with your auctions.

Shirts- I may be interested in taking one of those Adobe products off your hands. I need a little more detail about them though. Can you PM me? Thanks.

    Re: item pulled on ebay

Oh, sorry for not getting back about this software but the most bizarre thing happened. I came home from work after the items had been pulled for 2 days and miraculously, they were relisted (not by me) and sold the same day. I kept one and it works fine. I registered it with no problems. I would like to order more but I don't want to go through that ordeal again. I do think the sellers are honest. What is sad is that so many people are dishonest that you don't ever know who to believe. There is always someone out there trying to take advantage.
