    DHGate seller - Beijing2008

    I have only used dhgate these few times and will never use them again.

    I found ipod minis for 125 through them and kept asking them if they were new and they replied with 'yes, they are straight from the manufacteurer please buy with confidence' so then I decided to get about 5 and once I received them only 1 worked and it had scratches all over it so I complained to them and said I thought they were new and they replied with 'no they are refurbished we had other ones that we do not sell anymore that were new' . So I sent back the products and still have not received my money back about a month later and have contacted dhgate and they seem to do nothing about it.

    so now I stay away from dhgate.

    wish me luck on getting my money back

    I've aslo had an experience with these creetons, never got any product or moneyback. I talked about this with one of my wholesalers from shanghai, he told me that mostly everything that is sold in Beijing china was either fake or refurbs. The real stuff (new) is mostly found in hongkong out of large credible companies offering secure payment, and in fact it is actually just as much or more to buy the real stuff there as it is to buy here in north america.

    There is a big scam originating from Beijing, and I'm trying to tell as many people as posible. So every one spread the word as much as you can. Because there making a killing off alot of people.

    when buying from dhgate all ways pay with your credit card via paypal dhgate refund every time cus they know that credit card company can get money back for you

    I had a dispute with DHgate and after some time I did receive a partial refund (55%) and I also got to keep the products, which I sold to make a profit so it worked out reasonably well for me.

    Sorry about the bad luck though, keep at it, persistence pays (awesome pun right there).

    I am concerned about hearing of this news regarding DHGate, but feel that there must be some further explanations.

    On the whole I have found DHGate to be fairly open and honest with people.

    Perhaps it was just the particular user or supplier you ran into. beijing2000 might have been the problem.

    It is possible a number of factors enter here. The one I work with, TV, happens to have a feedback score of over 100 and he does not sell refurbished products.

    Unless they are openly lying, I feel DHGate is pretty reliable. I mean on the whole they probably send out some defective products, but I'm sure it is in the lower range given they received an award.

    I am thankful for your additional view though, and I do hope that it was just a mistake and they are not really like that with people. It is important to know and be educated of and I'm glad they use insurance.

    I too have had serious problems with DHGate, and don't plan on using their services again.

    I had quite similar experience. I bought picture frame from DHgate. However I couldn't swich it on. It was broken down. And like 2), I am in the process of deadlock, No moneyback or No exchange of new one for now.

    This has happened to me a few times but i find that if i pay using paypal and open a dispute through paypal i've always been refunded. You might also want to work things out with the sellers first because sometimes it is a genuine mistake. One time i ordered around $200 of clothes from a supplier only to be sent all the wrong styles. I messaged them and through my weight around abit with some threats & to make it up to me they sent my order again with no extra charge. So in effect i got $400 worth for $200 - I doubt i would have gotten the same outcome had dhgate gotten involved.
