I'm interested in selling professional skincare products online but am not sure how to tell if the merchandise I've found is authentic. I'm looking at lines like Dermalogica, Clarisonic, SkinCeuticals, Obagi etc. I've found many suppliers, some in the U.S. and some international but am concerned that when I receive the items they're not the real thing. Is there anyway to tell before I purchase? What questions should I be asking?

Hi pattygifts2,

Legitimate suppliers should be able to provide you proofs of authenticity upon request. You can get in touch with them before purchasing and you can also confirm with the mother company, Dermalogica for example, what marks to look out for that can validate the product as genuine (a hologram seal, serial numbers, certification, etc.). It would also help to initially make a sample order and make investigation from there. :)

Should you need assistance in getting in touch with suppliers, let us know and we'd be more than glad to help. :)
