Registration to SaleHoo Forum is automatically created when you join and is currently included in your SaleHoo membership price.

By registering and using SaleHoo Forum, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions that are set out below as well as our general terms and conditions that were set out when you joined.

Posting on the Forum

Members are reminded to treat others how they themselves would like to be treated. This includes respecting others view points, being polite to others and avoiding confrontation at all times. This is one of the most important rules any forum should adhere to.

Members may not use abusive language anywhere on the forum. Keep your posts on topic and ensure that you post in the correct area of the forum. If you have any difficulty with where you should post a message please contact one of the Moderators or Site Admin for further assistance.

Selling on the Forum

Only approved suppliers listed in our directory are allowed to promote items for sale on the forum. If you wish to become an approved supplier, please fill out an application at https://www.salehoo.com/suppliers/new 

Suppliers should limit promotional posts on the Salehoo Marketplace to three per week as posting more may appear that you're spamming the forum. Promotional posts may be removed at our discretion if we believe it is abusing forum privileges.

Please note that any posts promoting items for sale by members who are not approved suppliers will be deleted. 

Private Messaging To Other Members

If you wish to contact a member of the forum directly, then please do use the Private Messaging feature that is available. You should not use the Private Messaging feature to avoid any of the rules that the forum has, this includes but is not limited to:

• Sending Spam or Unsolicited content
• Sending abusive messages

Use of Signatures

You may optionally use a signature. They must be plain text/hyperlink.

Your signature must follow the rules below:

• Should be set up in your profile settings and not manually added
  to the bottom of each of your posts.
• May include a maximum of two links.
• Must not be a size greater than the default setting.
• May not include referral or affiliate links.
• We reserve the right to edit signatures that don't comply with the rules above and will notify you if this happens.

Copyright Material

You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless you own the copyright on that material. You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and SaleHoo Limited will not be held liable with respect to any claim based upon transmission of your message(s).

Any copyright holders who find their material posted on the site should contact us and request that material's be removal.

Complaints

If you have any issue or complaint regarding any postings, comments or decisions please contact us immediately and we will review your complaint and discuss the decision made by our staff or representatives.

Please note that it is not our policy to remove any forum posts unless they are defamatory or hateful.

One of the main functions of the SaleHoo forum is to be a place where people can openly discuss questions and concerns about suppliers, and receive advice and feedback from other members and the supplier themselves. In the first instance we always encourage suppliers to engage members in discussion over any problems, but please feel free to contact a staff member if you are having trouble reaching a resolution.

We believe it is important that you know how we treat information about you which we receive via the Internet. Our commitment to personal privacy is paramount.

SaleHoo Limited lets you visit the SaleHoo website without revealing any personal information about yourself. We will ask you when we need information that personally identifies (personal information) you. SaleHoo requests personal information from our users at several different points on our website. The personal information we collect is used only to respond to your inquiry, process an order, allow you to access specific account information, or advise you of special promotions, discounts, updates and new products.

SaleHoo is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not use or disclose this information for purposes other than those set out in this statement. By using this site or any services provided through the site, you expressly consent to the use and disclosure of information as described in our Privacy Statement.

Breaches of our terms and conditions will be dealt with by our legal team and may result in any or all of the following:

• Permanent Bans. We reserve the right to make amendments to these terms and conditions at any time. Membership of SaleHoo is not an automatic right of any user and is only granted on the condition that users accept all terms and conditions.
