China-based dressmakers - Manufacturers

I have a product that I want to sell, but first I need the product made, and I reckon China would be the cheapest bet. I have searched the internet and nothing really comes up for dressmakers in China. Any suggestions where to look and what to look for? Thx

If you're looking to get a product manufactured to your own design, then you need to search for 'clothing manufacturers' rather than dress makers. The best sites for finding small manufacturers who would be willing to take on a job like this would be:

As you'd be looking at investing quite a lot of money into this, it wouldn't be a bad idea to actually visit the manufacturer you find.

Hi Michelle,

As what Grace has emphasized, you will be needing manufacturers to create products of your own design. This will require a lot of capital and with a possible language barrier to expect, your plan will not be that easy.

How about sourcing for made to wear clothes that cater to specific markets, and therefore has a steady demand, such as wedding dresses?
