Mark Ling and Simon Slade created SaleHoo to serve the needs of eBay sellers and other online traders looking for goods to sell. The online wholesale buying industry is ridden with scams, and SaleHoo provides a way for retailers to avoid these scams by choosing from a selection of reliable, safe wholesale suppliers that have undergone a rigorous vetting process.
SaleHoo is also a community hub for online retailers with a public forum and free SaleHoo Academy that teaches new retailers what they need to know about selling online. Simon Slade is CEO and co-founder of SaleHoo. In this role, he oversees the strategic direction of the company, manages and contributes to product design, and supervises staff and daily operations. Simon is passionate about providing ecommerce professionals with the education and resources they need to start their own businesses and achieve occupational independence. He regularly contributes commentary for Forbes, Fortune, SMH, NZ Business, and CEO Blog Nation.
Mark Ling is co-founder and director of SaleHoo. As director, Ling supports product creation, email marketing, and webinar marketing, performs launches, and manages our partners and affiliates. In his free time, Ling is an active supporter of World Teacher Aid, a charity organization that builds classrooms and provides breakfast to African children. He also enjoys reading business books and spending time with his partner and two sons.

A strong bold brand, with a modern look & feel.
The new SaleHoo logo evolves to a fresher look & feel, using a sans-serif font that’s slightly corrected to create an “infinity symbol” with the two “o’s” of the word ‘Hoo’.
This symbol represents a brand that’s limitless in it’s capability of transformation and evolution, but is also a large source of educational content, assets, products & suppliers for every person that wants to start growing with the help and knowledge SaleHoo has to offer.
In some circumstances, our “infinity symbol” can represent the brand on its own without including the wordmark.
The product logos are to be used when specifically talking about a SaleHoo product or feature of one of those products. These sub brand logos should exist in their specific brand colors (Directory Red #FF3969, Dropship Blue #5C16D9, Educate Green #00AB78) or all white.
We have prepared a collection of high-resolution interface images of each SaleHoo Product:
- When talking about SaleHoo, the letters "S" and "H" should be capitalized. "SaleHoo" is one word, never modify or abbreviate it.
- You may use the SaleHoo trademarks only in the most current form provided by SaleHoo.
- Provide plenty of space around the SaleHoo logo(s) to ensure visibility and legibility.
- Alter these files in any way.
- Display these graphics in a way that implies a relationship, affiliation, or endorsement by SaleHoo of your product, service, or business.
- Use these graphics as part of your own product, business, or service’s name.
- Combine these graphics with any other graphics without written consent from SaleHoo.
