I've found that it can take a long time to find a product that will sell and make money after ebay fees, shipping and handling etc. I've
found it can be a very time consuming project to find items that will sell for sure, but it's time well spent once you start making the money.
I look for closeouts and ridiculously low priced merchandise. Another possibility is to consider selling locally on craigslist or through yard sales. I don't dropship because I've had bad luck with it. There's a free wholesale directory available at

I've often found that I can get better offers and make more money by not using ebay. In fact I just bought the Ebay in reverse system
where the guy explains how he buys on Ebay and resells his auction purchases for profit.
Profit is after all what is important. There are many other marketing strategies I use. My biggest thing now is making sure the item is profitable. If you're selling at a yard sale, or craigslist you don't have to lower your price to compete with everyone else.
You could easily profit from yard sales by buying just a few items I've seen over the last 2 weeks. Items originally $10-80 from .50 cents to $5. That's where the money is, and that's when I'm comfortable with my purchases. I don't try to sell items when the profit margins are too slim. I hope this helps.
