Hello Everyone,
I am a newbee to Salehoo. First I would like to thank everyone for their wonderful information.
I want to respond to the question about dropshippingwholesalers.com. DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT buy the website. I made that costly mistake a couple of years ago. First, while they are pushing purchasing the website they fail to tell you that after they create it, they provide little to no support afterwards. I was ignorant at the time and did not realize that you need to be certain that you understand that unless you are told specifically that they will publish it on the web for you, they don't. I did not understand that nor would they provide me with how to accomplish it. On their site they provide you with a name of a suggested hosting company but fell to tell you that they do not publish it. So if you WERE like me and do not understand how this works, you have a website just sitting there for no one to see but you.
Second, the templates for the website sucks. You get three choices that are lame/unattractive. I hired a company to make a logo for me and could not even place it on my website properly. Again I asked for help and they told me that I had to hire someone to help me with that, it was now my website and they did not get involved with anything other than the creation of it. I needed to change the appearance to make it look better
(fonts, colors, ect) same answer.
Third, every time I turned around my password that either they supplied or I choose was rarely working. i had to email them continusly because I couldn't access my site.
After much research these past couple of months I have found that there are MANY companies that you can have host, publish, and make a website with offering many options. The websites are made so that you have all of the control of the appearance, provide needed extras like sign in books for your visitors, social networking add ons, click n drag to add your inventory, search engine optimization, some offer monthly payment plans for a very low price with no contracts, and sooooo much more.
No, I have not committed any money to any of these companies yet because I am taking my time and carefully narrowing my choices down this time. I had started selling with ebay a few months ago to get my feet wet. Like many of you I found that ebay/paypal is a money hungry organization. I was considering opening store with them but thanks to my own experience and the insite from you guys on here, you helped me confirm my decision NOT to do it and to no longer deal with Paypal. Better to start off slow, gain all of the knowledge you can so as not to be sorry later.
