First dont fall for anything that promises you massive traffic for a small price...good traffic isnt cheap..thats why products costs alot..not inventory but advertising. you can blog, do ezines, post of forums. You could buy email marketing but be careful cause dropshipdesigns webpages will suspend hits and display ' unavailable serving a lot of shoppers page' if you have more than 500 hits an hour. it happens all the time to me. while they are usually helpful with problems this is one thing they haven't worked on. my guess is thats the max go daddy can host on subaccounts.
the best way to get real traffic with real buyers is pay per click. first off youll think of adwords but be careful you could pay double for certain works with 5x the competition you would have on yahoo or msn adwords. if you go carelessly adding ppc campaigns you could be in debts 100s in a matter of a day or two.
you could try out ppc wth yahoo marketing cause they offer free 50 or 75 or 100$ worth of clicks. dont go thinking your going to sell off plasmas and ipods and big ticket tems youll make 100s of. I sell lots of their products but in 3 years ive never sold anything like that. they are usually smaller oddball things you wouldnt even think to advertise. stick with specifc items and specifc keywords to keep your cost down to 1-10 cents a clck. f you go for plasma tvs and ipods you could pay as much as .50-$2 a click an dmake no sales. there is a learning curve but if you follow these rules you can save a ton of money.
to get page rank you can try free pr websites. write a press release or about a product offered. its not a waste of money just alot of people dont knowhow to market websites or realize that it costs alot of money to make money.
its like yes top salehoo affiliates cna pull in 10 or 15 grand a month but they are spending 5 or 10 grand on ppc to get that. theres so good tips on advertising and places to do it for low cost or free under the salehoo affiliate page. would follow that as a guide
